1. They talk about fruit flies and mice like they are their pets.

Sometimes you just get a little too invested in your research project.

2. They collect insects for class

Your professor will act like this isn't a weird assignment, but stalking insects may be the strangest thing you do in college.

3. They have a love/hate relationship with Organic Chemistry

We understand it's important to know, but we'd rather learn about parts of the cell.

4. They make band names out of photosynthesis processes

The longest words you may ever learn sound like fantastic names for a band when you've been studying for 10 hours straight.

5. They have at least one piece of clothing with a bad pun on it.

You may have gotten shirts like this for free at an event, but around fellow bio majors there's no shame in buying these kinds of clothes.

6. They laugh a little too hard at scientific memes.

We may know its not really all that funny, but it gets us anyways.

7. They hate the fact that they have to take Physics.

Physics just doesn't make sense to our brains!

8. They know the names of countless animal/plant species, but forget the names of famous people.

Some of them are hilarious and obviously more important than the Kardashians.

9. They have been asked about med school a few too many times.

Not all bio majors want to go to med school, and those who do are already stressed enough about it without being reminded about how hard it will be.

10. They doubt their sanity sometimes, but honestly couldn't be happier in any other major
