1. A pair of simple rectangular shades — believe it or not, you will see the sun again and protecting your eyes is v important. You don't even have to wait for spring to wear these...I don't know about you but I'm all for wearing sunglasses no matter what the season (not having enough time to do my eye makeup before leaving the house is a year-round occurrence).
2. A gorgeous kimono you can throw over anything from a plain dress to jeans. One swift motion and suddenly, it'll appear as if you have the qualifications of a celeb stylist. After all, only experienced fashionistas understand the power of the kimono.
3. A bucket hat because a bad hair day doesn't have to ruin your entire look. In fact, you probably won't even be phased by another bad hair day *ever* again, once you see just what a simple lil' hat can do for your outfit.
4. A pair of platform flip-flops for the sole reasons that 1. we love the early 2000s and 2. unlike normal flip-flops, they possess a certain je ne sais quoi that makes them look like a fashion statement instead of a lazy, last-minute decision.
5. A delicate mesh hair bow barrette aka a nostalgic ode to the Easter Sundays of your childhood. Who would've thought? 20 years later, and you're still wearing a big bow in your hair? ...to which you reply "That's right, 20 years later and still cute."
7. A flower jaw clip that'll turn haphazardly throwing your hair up into a strategic, stylistic choice. Not to mention, incredibly on theme for the upcoming season...bravo.
8. A mesh shoulder bag so your trip to the *first* outdoor farmers market of the year isn't in vain. You couldn't possibly shop to your heart's content without a bag to hold all of your goodies. C'mon.
9. A pair of flower earrings for those of us who want to pay homage to spring but prefer going about it in an *understated* way. I get it, I won't find you in floral from head-to-toe, but this'll get the point across just as well.
10. A set of beaded necklaces because it's officially time to shed the weight of chunky winter accessories and replace them with dainty little accents. Don't worry — this isn't goodbye, it's see your later — your thick velvet ribbon choker will be there next year.
11. A bandana headband — here's the thing, warmer weather (unfortunately) means humidity and humidity means we don't know what to do with the top of our heads. Here's an idea, just cover it up completely with this...you'll look so cute, no one will ever suspect the frizz that lies beneath.
12. A corduroy trucker hat to wear on casual days where a ponytail is necessary but jeopardizes your trendy fit. Friends, I present, the solution.
13. A pair of lettuce-edged ankle socks that'll go really well with a pair of oxfords, a mini dress...and maybe a walk around town to show off your cute outfit? Don't let it go to waste.
14. A floral scarf in case it's still a tad bit cold one spring day and you just need something lightweight to protect your precious neck skin. It'll add a little somethin' somethin' to your outfits while not being overbearing as the weather warms.
15. Floral fishnets — look, I know I promised blue skies and sunshine but spring is finicky — there might be some cold days — luckily, you can still wear a mini skirt and keep your legs *somewhat* warm. Plus, they'll give you a lot of style points.
16. A small shoulder bag so you can really shed the winter bulk and finally tote a petite purse around without worrying about where you're going to put your gloves.
17. A pack of toe rings because your toes are about to make their springtime debut. These'll accentuate your pedicure or draw attention away from the lack thereof.
18. A mini backpack that'll accompany you on all your springtime adventures. Maybe a picnic with a friend? A hike on a sunny day? A breezy stroll around the city? Whatever it is, be sure to bring this lil' guy with you.
19. A 12-pack of rabbit ear headbands to introduce some color back into your wardrobe. It's hard making the transition from the muted colors we've been donning all winter, this'll make it easier.
20. Butterfly Croc charms for bringing you literal joy in each step. How, you ask? Well, 1. you'll be wearing your Crocs, so you'll be extremely comfortable and content. 2. every time you look down you'll be reminded of the butterfly clip days of your youth and instantly feel a sense of childlike wonder. See? Literal joy.
21. A body chain because, much like your toes, your midriff is also *entering the chat* again with crop top and bathing suit season well on its way. Don't be afraid of a lil' bling.
22. A ruffled mesh sarong to make your debut at the beach the red carpet event it should be.
23. A bolero shrug so you don't have to wait for the summer to wear your favorite tank again.
24. A pair of high socks because, realistically speaking, spring is pretty much the only time you can rock the high sock/mini skirt look and be appropriately dressed for the weather. Don't walk, don't run, fly — the time is now.
25. An assortment of pearl, resin, and wired hair pins to keep the flyaways at bay. After all, those breezy spring days can get pretty breezy.
26. A set of enamel pins so you don't have to replace your tried and true denim jacket. Just cover all the stains and holes in it with a cute pin and voila — light jacket season ready.
27. A pair of heart shades that'll show everyone just how much you absolutely *adore* the spring and sunshine!
