We Know The Secret To Surviving This Holiday Season!

Holiday season is coming around, and as much as we all love seeing our family, sometimes those conversations can get a little awkward….

When just drinking your beer isn't enough - Try these 5 beer infused food recipes using MIA Bruhaus beers, to keep the buzz going!

1. MIA Domino Beer Cheese


• ½ Cup MIA Domino

• ¼ Tsp. Garlic Powder

• 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter

• 3 Tbsp. All-purpose Flour

• ¾ Cup Milk


• In a sauce pan melt butter over medium heat then whisk in flour

• Take pan off heat and whisk 2 Tbsp. of milk until consistency is thick

• Progressively keep whisking and adding in 2 Tbsp. milk at a time until all milk is used and consistency is thick.

• Slowly pour beer, cayenne and salt in the mixture

• Add in the cheese and slowly whisk until consistency is smooth

2. MIA Weiss Beer Bread

(use to dip in your beer cheese dip)


• 1 Can MIA Weiss

• 3 Cups All-purpose Flour

• 1 Tbsp. baking powder

• 1 Tsp. Salt

• ½ Stick Melted Unsalted Butter


• Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

• Grease a bread pan

• Add flour, sugar, baking powder and salt to a large bowl and whisk ingredients

• Add beer and stir ingredients

• Pour half of melted butter onto greased bread pan

• Add batter onto greased bread pan, and pour remaining butter on top

• Bake for 55 minutes until brown and crispy

3. MIA Mega Mix Beer Glazed Platano Maduros (Fried Sweet Plantains)

• 2 Cups MIA Mega Mix

• 6 Ripe Plantains

• ¾ cup brown sugar

• 1 Tsp. Unsalted Butter

• Tbsp. Olive Oil

• ½ cup of Queso Fresco


• In a sauce pan melt sugar with beer until glaze thickens

• Chop up plantains into small circles

• Mix plantains in the glaze while a separate pan heats up

• Add plantains to heated pan and fry until golden brown

• Drizzle remaining glaze if desired

• Once done you may add cheese on top of plantains

4. MIA Tourist Trappe & Honey Glazed Chicken


• ¾ Cup MIA Tourist Trappe

• 6 Chicken drumsticks

• 3 Cloves Minced Garlic

• 1/3 Cup Honey

• 1 Tsp. Red Pepper Flakes

• 1 Tsp. Dijon Mustard

• 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil

• ¼ low sodium soy sauce

• Cilantro


• Mix all ingredients in a bowl

• Place chicken drumsticks inside bowl cover with glaze and let chicken marinate 2 hours (the longer you marinate the more flavor the chicken will have)

• Pre-heat oven at 375 degrees and bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown

• Garnish with cilantro

5. MIA Weiss & Tourist Trappe Beer Infused & Beer Frosted Cupcakes

'cuz no meal is complete without desert!


For the cupcakes:

• ¾ cup MIA Weiss

• 2 cups all-purpose flour

• 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda

• 1 Stick melted unsalted butter

• ¼ Tsp. Salt

• 3 Eggs

• ¾ Cup Sour Cream

For the frosting:

• 6 Tbsp. MIA Tourist Trappe

• 4 oz. Unsalted Butter

• 2 Cups powdered sugar

• 4 oz. Cream Cheese

• 1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract


• Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

• In a mixing bowl whisk sugar, flour, baking soda, and salt

• In separate bowl combine beer, melted butter and vanilla

• Beat in eggs one at a time until consistency is smooth, progressively mix dry and wet ingredients and whisk together

• Pour ingredients into the cupcake liner tray and bake for 20 minutes

• Let cupcakes cool

• While cupcakes are cooling, combine all frosting ingredients and whisk until consistency is thick

• Once cupcakes have cooled, put frosting on top of cupcakes and enjoy!

Now you can drink your beer and eat it too!
