1. Blackpink's Coachella Stage

After a lot of backlash for claims of 'laziness' and 'inequality', the girls came back with a bang becoming the FIRST all-female k-pop group to perform at Coachella. Billboard even called it an "electrifying performance" and it was the connection between fans and idols that really sold it.

2. BTS on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

Map of the Soul: Persona was a great comeback for BTS nonetheless but when they performed homage to The Beatles with their hit song Boy With Luv, fans and even the group itself realised how much of an impact they actually have and that they've really made it. Buzzfeed News called itself claimed it "was — to put it simply — iconic."

3. ATEEZ Halloween Performance

On Mnet's M Countdown this year, rookie group ATEEZ performed an eerily incredible version of their title song “Wonderland” in makeup that is an art by itself. The fact that the group are focused so much on performance and charisma on stage made this iconic and a spooky surprise that we will always remember despite being one member down that day.

4. Lisa's Swalla Dance Cover

According to KBIZOOM the video "Received Nearly 2 Million Views After Only A Few Hours." which shows the level of showmanship that Lisa from Blackpink held during this performance. The fancam of this performance went viral on YouTube with the idol showcasing her renowned dance skills and stage presence. She even had her own trending hashtag on Twitter!

5. Tiffany Young's RFYL Comeback

Music video? Fierce. Legs? For days. It's safe to say that the ex-member of Girls' Generation's attempt to make something really experimental and different skyrocketed with a special mention on NME and 1.7 million views on YouTube to date. Teen Vogue wrote that the song "shows just how far Tiffany has come as an artist" and we're so proud of our girl!

6. A.C.E Byeongkwan in Under Cover

A.C.E's concepts are really daring and defy gender expectations anyway but when member Kim Byeongkwan appeared in an animal print crop top and feathery coat it made all the fans beg for the stylists to get a raise for not only this but also all the other looks in the video. What a concept.

7. TWICE's cover of MOVE

When Twice members Momo, Mina, Dahyun, and Chaeyoung did a sexy cover of Taemin's hit song, fans were speechless and begging for a darker girl crush concept from the group. Koreaboo summed up our feelings by stating that "Their hips were out of control." and we're okay with that.

8. Stray Kids Side Effects (and the Clé 2 : Yellow Wood comeback)

MTV called it "DARK, DISORIENTING" and I couldn't agree more! It was a refreshing comeback and we were finally seeing what Stray Kids were made of especially with the title track 'Side Effects'. It's weird, intense and appears more as a listening experience rather than a song. They show how they have continued to improve and are not going anywhere anytime soon.

10. Jimin's Solo in MMA 2019

We all know Park Jimin can dance but only a few know he can move. Those people are the ones who watch performances like this where he was the ability to shine by himself and prove just what he really can do. Kpopmap beautifully articulated this with "His dance moves, later on, are just indescribable with words." and this was truly an unforgettable performance.

How could science out of a textbook sound so beautiful? I related to Seo Jang-hoon's tears and it's safe to say the tears were reciprocated. The gentle hums of the guitar and the ethereal voice just really deserved a spot on this list. Enough said.

15. Mamamoo's Hwasa and Wheein Feeding the Gays

Although choreography and live performances are great, sometimes all the fans want to see is a genuine and authentic moment of having fun and letting loose from their favourite groups. Mamamoo's boogie here is no exception and the loose hips and silly attitude makes them the perfect candidate for a girls night out!

The stable lyrics, the actually good outfits, the message, the presence. Let me remind you that they are rookies as I think because of performances like these we often forget. According to Koreaboo ITZY "rocked the stage at the Melon Music Awards 2019, awing everyone with their talents and visuals!" and they really deserved that award, seriously!
