If you missed it, it was one of the many wild and uncomfortable stories that Harry told in his memoir, Spare — which came out in January.

Harry wrote that in 2016, he went to a "wild party" at Courteney's home, where there was allegedly a "box of black diamond mushroom chocolates" in the fridge. "Somebody behind me said they were for everybody," he recalled. "'Help yourself, boys.' My mate and I grabbed several, gobbled them, washed them down with tequila."

After they set in, Harry went to the bathroom and just "stared" at a silver bin by the toilet. "It stared back. Then it became . . . a head," he wrote, adding that he just "laughed."

While Courteney did not get into the details of what happened, she did confirm that Harry had been a guest at her house.

"He did stay here for a couple of days—probably two or three. He's a really nice person," she told Variety, adding that she'd also seen him recently, but didn't get the chance to speak.

Courteney also hadn't read his book at the time of the interview, but she said she was looking forward to it after hearing that "it's really entertaining."

"But yes, it's gotten back to me about it," she said of Harry's claim. "I'm not saying there were mushrooms! I definitely wasn't passing them out."

So, it could be true — she just wasn't the one handing them out. Got it.
