TMZ reports that Sam has filed for divorce from the "3" singer after one year of marriage.
The news follows earlier reports from People and TMZ that he and Britney had separated.
Reps for Britney did not immediately return BuzzFeed's request for comment — but TMZ reports that the split comes after a heated dispute between the two after Sam allegedly approached Britney over cheating rumors.
The report also said that he's already left the home they shared and moved into a place of his own.
"It's only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce," the insider said at the time.
Britney and Sam were married last summer after roughly six years of dating. They first met on the set of the singer's "Slumber Party" video in 2016.
