    Mexico Earthquake Relief

On September 7th, a magnitude 8.1 earthquake hit just off the coast of southern Mexico. Just 12 days later, Mexico City was rocked by a 7.1 earthquake. The two quakes have a rising death toll of 315, and have caused millions of dollars worth of damage. There are still people trapped in the rubble, including children at a collapsed school. We need to show our neighbors to the south our support, especially because we can't trust our government to step up. Please consider donating to the organizations below.

    Brigada de Rescate Topos

The Rescue Brigade Topos Tlaltelolco is a professional rescue team assembled in the wake of Mexico City’s deadliest earthquake in 1985. The group, whose nickname means “moles,” is at the front lines (Spanish) of this week’s rescue efforts. Los Topos are accepting donations via their bank account and Paypal.
