Why Stand Up Comedy Needs An Artist Like Romeo Willis

When you watch a Stand Up Comedy set, what are some things that you keep an eye out for? Are you listening to see if the joke lands on the crowd? Are you waiting for the comedian to get into a verbal sparring match with a heckler? Or are you anticipating them to bomb out totally?

Being a performer myself, one of the things that I keep an eye out for is stage presence, its hard to get a crowd to follow your jokes if they aren't interested in you or what your saying. Another thing I keep an ear out for is the flow of the joke, is the set sporadic and all over the place, or does it all tie in together or take your imagination for a wild ride?
