Your credit score is looked at by lenders to assess how likely it is that you will pay them back.

A credit score is an indicator of your reliability as a borrower.

With VantageScore 3.0®, any score above 720 is considered "good" or "excellent," but anything below is in the "fair" or "bad" range.

Financial institutions use the major scoring systems VantageScore and Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO) to determine a three-digit number that represents your credit worthiness. For example, Chase Credit Journey uses VantageScore 3.0®.
