Which BIOL 1055 Lab Topic Are You?

What is your favorite animal?

If you could have any of these jobs, what would it be?

Where would you like to take a vacation?

What is your favorite season?

Which is your favorite type of amusement park ride?

Finally, which Jake the TA picture is your current mood?

The biodiversity topic was so much fun, just like you! You're a huge animal lover, and you are fascinated by the creatures you don't see every day in America. You love helping people out and are a rocking citizen scientist. While it can sometimes take you a while to get a hang of things (seriously, what was up with JMP Pro?!), once you gain confidence, nothing can hold you back!

Biodiversity on the Serengeti

You are intrigued by how things work, so the toxicology topic was perfect for you! Science can come easier to you than it can to others, which was a major benefit during this lab. You can tend to be a perfectionist, and if something went wrong, you always could find a solution! No matter how cute or freaky you thought the Daphnia magna looked, you loved being able to use real subjects to test on.

Toxicology

The environment is important to you, and looking for ways to improve it is a frequent thought in your mind. You love to try new things, regardless of whether or not it works out. You were really excited to make a mini hydroponics salad table, which would've allowed you to grow your own plants, but, unfortunately, that didn't happen. Luckily, a hydroponics table is portable, and you definitely have the skills to make your own!

Hydroponics

While air quality can seem straightforward at first, there are surprising aspects to it, just like you! You care about people's health and will do things others wouldn't in order to help. Despite the lab being online, you were still able to find out interesting information about the impacts of human activities on the air quality index (AQI). The AQI's ability to fluctuate rapidly is similar to your ability to switch up what you're doing easily!
