Goodbye summer break :(

1. Uniforms

Yep. No 'Back to School' outfits for us. Most Aussie schools have uniforms whether you're in a posh area or not. It does get boring but at least we don't have to decide what the wear each day.

2. We go back too school in January, not September

Our summer break only last 6 weeks from late December to late January / early February. But our school year is split into 4 terms rather than 2 semesters with 2 week breaks between each.

4. Cafeteria Lunches

Totally not a thing in Oz. We have canteens where you can get your lunch every now and then but it's mainly lunchboxes here.

5. You can legally drink at 18

With the drinking age set at 18 in Australia you can legitimately (and legally) go to school Monday morning with a hangover.
