Friends fans, it's time to sit back, relax, and fondly remember that time Giovanni Ribisi played that weird condom guy before he played Phoebe's brother.
For those of you who don't remember it, back in Season 2's "The One With the Baby on the Bus," a random guy dropped a condom into Phoebe's guitar case...
...and then ran over to take said condom back.
Why? Because he needed to have sex with someone named Christine. DUH!
And, of course, that random condom guy is played by the same person who plays our beloved and very unique Frank Jr.
Now, you might conclude that the condom guy is actually Frank Jr. because, come on, Frank Jr. would tip a musician with a condom and then take it back. But according to Refinery29's interview with one of the show's writers, Betsy Borns, the higher-ups just really liked Ribisi as an actor and wanted to keep him around.
“[Ribisi] was an actor that was used by the executive producers before," Borns said. "They liked him, so they decided to use him more because they liked working with him.”
But no matter which truth you choose to believe, nothing can take away the fact that the same actor gave Phoebe a condom and then later had a pretty big hand in getting her pregnant. Never forget.
