Who Should Be The Next Bachelor?

Who will be the new Bachelor sensation thats sweepin' the nation??

Posted on

So "The Bachelorette" is over and opinions aside about Rachel's choice (#NotMyBachelor) Bachelor fans are hungry for more. Sure "Bachelor in Paradise" is currently airing but the real question on Bachelor Nation's mind is who will take up the Bachelor mantle come January? Below we have narrowed it down to our Top 10 picks but then you get to decide! So grab your virtual roses because it's time to play "Who Should be the next Bachelor?"

Peter Kraus

ABC

Of course a clear choice for the next Bachelor will always be the runner up of the previous Bachelorette season. This year that just so happens to be fan favorite and guy-who-definitely-should-have-won-don't-even-fight-me-on-this Peter Kraus. This lovable gapped-toothed 35-year-old seemed to really take his break up with Rachel hard, claiming to still have feelings for her (the eyelashes guys THE EYELASHES). If the twitterverse has any say in these matters the choice is clear.

Eric Bigger

ABC

3rd runner up from Rachel's season is Eric Bigger, the never-been-in-love personal trainer whose big heart and emotionally mature exit have gained him a lot of fans. Sure he may be a little juvenile when it come to matters of love, but he has shown time and again his willingness to put his heart on the line for the woman he believes in. Everything is bigger when it comes to Eric.

Dean Unglert

ABC

Oh our young broken Dean. This 26-year-old sweetheart was 2nd runner up in Rachel's season, but 1st in pulling heart strings. Through his emotional recollections of his tragic childhood, from his mother passing to his still painful estrangement with his father, we were able to see Dean blossom from a boy into a man. It would be great to see his journey finish with a woman by his side who cares for him just as deeply as he does for her (or at least a Dancing with the Stars contract).

Kenny Layne (King)

ABC

Kenny Layne (or Kenny King as he is known professionally) stole America's hearts as soon as he began telling Rachel about his daughter. The way his eyes lit up when speaking about her shows this is a man who has his priorities in order. We are sure Bachelor Nation would happily tune in to see him take home the big title.

Blake Killpack

ABC

The last suggestion from Rachel's season is very attractive Marine vet Blake K. This is a bit of a wild card for sure, but Bachelor nation was outraged upon his seemingly premature exit this season. They even began the campaign #JusticeForBlakeK. He is definitely the one who got away but that could all change with a turn as the next Bachelor.

Luke Pell

ABC

Luke Pell of Jojo's season, had his bags packed and his ticket booked before receiving the news that his season had been abruptly cancelled in favor of recurring Bachelor contestant Nick Viall. It would just be so fulfilling to see this 32-year-old Texan and war vet get his shot at love as well! Let's get this Lone Star a partner!

Wells Adams

ABC

Wells Adams, first seen on Jojo's season, is currently making some big waves on "Bachelor in Paradise". It feels like producers could be setting the Nashville DJ up to follow in Nick Viall's footsteps all the way to a season of his own, but with some strong contenders from Rachel's season he will really need to make a big impression from here on out.

Arie Luyendyk Jr.

ABC

Arie Luyendyk, race car driver and first rate kisser (who could forget that wall kiss with Emily Maynard), has been in talks in previous seasons for a shot at the big gig, but has never seemed to be able to cross the finish line (racing pun intended). At 35-years-old, and still unlucky in love, he is still very much able to carry a season himself, which would perhaps be a fun mix up to what can be a pretty formulaic selection process.

Ben Higgins

ABC

Ben Higgins, previously seen on Kaitlyn's season of the Bachelorette and then in a Bachelor season all his own, has recently suffered a heart break this past year with his chosen winner Lauren Bushnell. Call us nostalgic but sometimes we long for the uncomplicated days (except for that one time he told two women he loved them thing) with our sweet-hearted Benjamin. And with the two seasons we had with Brad Womack as proof, the move wouldn't be totally unprecedented by the Producers of the show.

Chad Johnson

ABC

Last but not least is everyone's favorite (or least-favorite?) villain of all time Chad Johnson of Jojo's season. In a time where ratings are all that matters and Donald Trump is President, it seems oddly fitting to have an antagonist become the lead of our beloved series. One things for sure this workout-obsessed, luxury real estate agent would definitely bring the drama.

Ladies and Gentleman this is the final rose of the evening so, when you're ready, it is time for you to decide! Who should be the next Bachelor? Be sure to choose for the right reasons.
