"Happy One Year. A year ago today I made a decision to change my life, to be more happy and healthy and fit. Since that day I've never looked back. I've done things this year that I would only dream about like completing a triathlon and becoming a runner and completing a half marathon. I am here to say that anything is possible."

"As I've stated before, I've not got to this point by following one way.. That's not how life works..Despite negativity in my life I don't allow it to consume me, positivity really is the key to success in life!"

"On the last day of 2016, as I reflect on the past year and prepare to enter 2017, it is so amazing to be able to say it has been the best year of my life... I started putting myself first. I took control of my health and I took control of my LIFE. I beat my addiction to food, I found a new passion for the gym and working out and I became part of such a loving and supportive fitness community. I wouldn't take back anything I did this year and I am so grateful for the strides I have made in my personal life, health, fitness and happiness. Loosing 100+lbs is just the beginning-- I'm not one for resolutions, but I know this journey has just started and I cannot wait to see where 2017 takes me. So reflect on your year, take note of what needs to change, and finally just commit to yourself! It's the best thing you'll ever do. Set goals and crush them! Enter the new year with lots and lost of positivity! Happy new year everyone. I wish you a healthy, happy and amazing year!!!!"

"I achieved my goal of getting not only back to my old weight, but losing even more than that. Weighing the smallest I ever have.

I love reflecting back on photos and showing myself just how far I've come. I'm absolutely shocked and proud of my own progress. I can't believe I've came this far and have changed my health & body completely.

Now onto the new year and all the goals I have set for myself. Bring it on 2017."

"A little over a year ago I weighed 245 lbs. My blood pressure was through the roof and I was on the verge of being medicated for it at just 26 years old. I was lazy, always tired, suffered from chronic migraines and was just overall unhealthy. My pants were a size 16, shirts were a 1X and I decided enough was enough.

From one day to the next I completely changed my eating habits. No more salt, no more processed foods, no more empty carbs. I was going to eat clean and give my body what it deserved. I decided to get off of my butt as well and start moving with just 15 minutes a day on the elliptical in my living room.

A year later, this is me. I lost 100 lbs, have normal blood pressure, dont suffer from migraines and wear a size 4 in pants and a small in shirts. I go to the gym daily for at least an hour, I am always full of energy and I am helping change lives! I love my body and respect it because I know what it is capable of.. and I treat it that way.

This is my story and it can be yours if you just try! I promise it is in you and you can do it. Just dig deep and find your motivation!"

"Hi everyone!! My name is Jayne! 2 years ago I made the decision to lose weight, what I thought would be another half hearted attempt. But I actually surprised myself by doing it!

It's hard, it's a struggle and it takes a lot of dedication, but you can do it.. I started my journey at 335 lbs (23 stone 13lbs) and have so far lost 117 lbs (8 stone 5lbs)

I feel happier, more confident and a

Even renewed my wedding vows in September in celebration of mine and my husbands weight loss! Believe in yourself, and you can achieve amazing things."

"My proposal size vs two days before the wedding. It's been a long 15 months of some hard work. There's about 110lbs difference in these two pictures. Sometimes I can't believe the picture on the left was actually me. And sometimes I can't believe that the picture on the right is me. It's a weird feeling, but I'm proud of how far I've come. I'm not at goal weight or goal size, but I'm going to keep pushing! Don't quit just because you are starting to feel comfortable with your body! Keep pushing, there's always room for improvement and always new goals to crush!"

"After endless attempts at losing weight, I eventually ballooned up to 310 pounds. A few months ago, I decided that is no longer who I want to be. I’ve managed to lose 70 pounds so far, but I am currently at the weight where I usually rebound. I have 70 more pounds I would love to lose, so I want to share my story to keep myself in check. Please follow me and keep me accountable. Any support would be greatly appreciated."

"At one point everytime 'life' happened, I put my weight loss on hold. Holidays were coming up? Ok I'll just start back in the new year. Stressed about finals? I'll start after finals. Miss ONE day of workouts? I'll start over on Monday. Going out of town? Definitely starting when I get back.

I did this for weeks that turned into months that turned into YEARS of a vicious cycle. It was not until I stopped using every and anything as an EXCUSE that I not only saw results, but maintained them. The difference between me then and now is not that life stopped happening, it's that I changed my lifestyle. "

"The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new."

"I started at 435 pounds and today I'm 221. Total loss of 214 pounds. (...)

Of everything I'm still shocked that I'm this far along. At times I still can't believe that it's me when I look in the mirror.

If I can do it, you can do it! Just approach it as I did and start out by making changes you can sustain for life. We can do anything for a short period of time if it's hard but after a while we'll go back to our old habits. If you make changes and find healthy alternatives that you enjoy, it'll be much easier to sustain for life and you won't fall back into those old habits. Just set goals... make sure each decision you make gets you closer to your goal then further away and you'll be successful. Here's to a new month!"

"You know those comparison pictures in the back of magazines and it always says something like, "Find the 10 differences?". I can't help but think of those whenever I post a progress picture 😂. Only my changes wouldn't be able to all be spotted. I would say 50% of my change has been internal. When you feel comfortable in your own skin, you become a totally new version of yourself you weren't even aware existed. Kill today's work out because you want to be the best version of you. You deserve the best. Now, get out there and give it to yourself."

"I decided no more. No more sadness, no for feeling bad for myself & no more looking at others for happiness. I wanted to be my own happiness. Choosing me was the best thing i could have ever done. As I enter into 2017, I'm going to continue on this journey that God has put me on and continue to be a better me. "

"I AM STRONG. Resist temptation, practice determination. Stop procrastinating and leaving everything important for another day. Realize that today is all you have. The choice is yours. What you do today, will definitely shape who and what you become tomorrow. Be the strength that inspires everyone around you. Be the force that attracts a positive change. Don't you realize that YOU have the power to start a movement?! Stay committed!"

"Me back then vs now. It's amazing how fast things have changed and how great I feel now. I never thought I would be the person I am today. It's taken a lot of work but it's soooo worth it!! A lot of people are negative about things or say negative things but I have put in the work and continue to work hard every day to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Down 145 pounds so far!"

"I was already down about 35lbs from my "high weight" on the left. I remember pulling these size 16's (from American eagle) out of storage and being shocked that I could even button them.. (I was around a size 20 when I started this journey). Although they didn't quite fit here, I wanted to be able to compare pictures with when they did fit! I took so many pictures along the way to track my progress, trying to keep myself motivated by seeing the gradual changes. Did I start this account "KNOWING" I was going to lose the weight this time? Hell no. I had tried SO many times in the past, I didn't really expect this time to be any different than previous attempts. I've doubted myself at different points along this whole journey.. but I kept pushing and slowly started to believe in myself more and more."
