You are drawn to living a life of purpose and excitement in a big city that has a lot to offer. You want the family away from home with people who are just like you - cool hipsters who rather do a costume party than a quiet night in front of the TV - and have a high tolerance for dirty dishes.

The Modern Urban Commune

Preserving the earth we live on and protecting the environment gives you purpose in life and you share these important ecological, social-economic and cultural-spiritual values with your community. You seek alternatives to ecologically destructive electrical, water, transportation, and waste-treatment systems, as well as the larger social systems that mirror and support them. You likely support fair trade and play the ukulele, too.

Ecovillage

Your faith is what guides your day and you want it to be the center of your communal living, too. Whether it is Catholicism, Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism, Islam or another religion, you want to share your spiritual path with your community members and live a faithful, devoted lifestyle that respects the rules laid out by your believes.

Spiritual communities

You love to party - preferably with hip hop music, a pool and preferably even some foam action, wear tank tops with Greek letters on them and drink massive amounts of alcohol out of red cups. You also want to get through college as part of the popular crowd. 
Money is likely not an issue for you and you don't chicken out when hazing is around the corner.

The fraternity

You have plenty of free time and you are too young to not have a decent amount of fun with people who share your interests and potentially your cultural background! Go find your golfing equipment, viagra and sun lotion - a retirement community of your liking in the sun awaits!
