4. Consider your personal safety.

5. There is no such thing as privacy on the internet.

Do not say anything online that you would not say in public. People can easily take screen-shots of posts, so even if you delete the post quickly it can still be shared. Even if you think that you have deleted them, search engines can turn up posts years after they are created, and comments can be forwarded or copied.
