    A coastline at night with bright blue water.

    Adjective: unfamiliar, rare and strange, but marvelous. The bioluminescence that turn San Diego beaches bright blue every few years could be referred to as selcouth.

    2. Raconteur

    A book open and glowing.

    Noun: a talented storyteller. Some of our favorite entertainers are raconteurs. Whip this word out the next time you hear a good story!

    Street lamps lining a foggy path.

    Noun: the love of darkness or the night. If vampires were real, they'd all have nyctophilia!
