My mini-review from September: I finished this book at 12:57 am. I woke up this morning, and my face still hurts from the perma-grin I had while reading this book. I laughed, I cried, I swooned, and fogged up my Kindle screen with this sexy and fun love story.
I will never think about a LAYover in the same way ever again. Carter and Kendall’s high flying romance flew into my heart, and it now has landed safely on my bookshelf.
There is one thing I dislike about Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland's books’…that they end. I never want them to end. I savor each and every page knowing the end will inevitably arrive.
Be prepared to pull an all-nighter and take the trip of a lifetime. This book is worth losing sleep over.

Say You Want Me by Corinne Michaels pulled on every emotional heart string. I’m not a swooner. I don’t even like the word swoon and rarely use it. I think I have only swooned over a few fictional men (maybe 4-5). Wyatt and all of his alpha male southern charm made me swoon. He made my heart sing and then explode at one point. I wanted to hate Corinne Michaels for turning my face into a faucet from the ugly cry I had. I went through a half a box of tissues, a maximum strength decongestant, and a double dose of nasal spray before I went to bed. Please know that this is not a depressing book. A few plot twists on the emotional roller coaster ride that Corinne created really got to me. I love when a book does this. Say You Want Me will easily make my 2016 All Time Best Kindle Crack recommendations list. 5+ stars.
My thoughts on Say You'll Stay: This emotion-packed, heartfelt friends-to-lovers romance is absolute perfection! When I was 1/2 through this book, I had to stop. You are probably wondering why I stopped if this book was so good. Honestly, I needed a minute to reflect on my love of reading. Say You’ll Stay reminded me of why I love to read. This book might be my favorite book by Corrine. One-click this one and you are “feels-gasm” closer to reading one of my favorite books of 2016!
4. The Baller by Vi Keeland
The Baller hit #3 on the NYT & #7 USA Today's Best Sellers Lists.
There is nothing like a finding a new book boyfriend and Vi Keeland delivered a touchdown. I know it’s early in 2016, but I can already tell that The Baller is going to be one of my favorite books of the year. This super sexy, heart-warming sports romance was unputdownable. That cover melted my Kindle screen and Brody Easton melted my heart. This standalone romance was the perfect mix of the feels and fun. The Baller might be my favorite book by Vi (and she has written some great books).
Ok… I need to fess up that I helped Vi pick the cover model photo that adorns this cover. This book is as HOT as this cover. ‘Nuff said. Get one-clicking.

Preppy is absolutely brilliant. I don't know how T.M Frazier does it but this series keeps getting better and better. How is it possible? We morned the loss of Preppy and we begged TM for MORE. Holy shit did she deliver. I'm just full on in love with Preppy, this series and my favorite Evil Ginger author. This series is absolute Kindle Crack.
My thoughts on Soulless: I hoped and prayed that the last book in this series would be as incredible as the other books. My prayers were answered! Soulless was everything I hoped it would be and more. The King series might be one of my all-time favorite MC biker book series. Bravo T.M. Fraizer!

Sure she has written emotionally charged books before (and I have loved each and every one), but this book had a different vibe, yet was equally as memorable. It Ends with Us catapulted me into a new dimension of heartfelt intensity that left me speechless. With that said, It Ends with Us is not an easy story to read at times, but it’s a story that was begging to be told. Maybe in some ways, this was a cathartic, soul cleansing writing experience for Colleen.
I can’t tell you much about this book without spoiling it. I refuse to take that away from you. You need to experience all of the raw emotion that Colleen harnessed into this book. You don’t want to miss all of the feels in one of the best books of the year. It Ends with Us is absolute Kindle Crack.
Naked Truth: Lilly’s story hit very close to home for me. You will understand what this means once you read this book.

Whiskey is one of my top reads of 2016! I have a monumental emotional book hangover. By the way, at 80% into this book I decided I would be rereading it again super soon. IT'S THAT GOOD!

13. Into the Light & Away From the Dark by Aleatha Romig
Imagine waking up in a hospital totally blind, in pain and unable to use your voice? To top it all off, you have zero memory! You are told your name is Sara, and you have a husband. I’m sure you read the synopsis, and you think you might know how this story is going to play out. Nope. You don’t have a clue!
I started reading this book without looking at the synopsis. Ok, I admit I did peek at it a while ago but went in virtually blind about the plot. I figured this book is by Aleatha Romig, so I know I am going to experience some darkish, mind-fuc*ery, an air-tight solid plot, and memorable characters.
I have to say Into the Light might be one of Aleatha’s finest books to date! Once again, Aleatha spins a thickly woven, intricate web infused with mystery, murder, and suspense. I’m still trying to pick my jaw off the floor from the ending. I have said it once, and I’ll say it again, there are only a few authors that make me embrace a cliffhanger ending. Aleatha is one of them. Her writing is simply brilliant. Aleatha is my go-to author when I want a smart, sexy, unputdownable suspense story.
Away From the Dark was equally incredible!

For existing More Than Series readers/fans: If you have the More series, you are already emotionally attached to Jay’s characters so there’s no need to even look at the synopsis of this book. Why bother? You know what you are getting yourself into and that you are about to embark on an emotional journey. Her stories have a way of embedding themselves in your heart and soul. I know a few fans that have tattoos with lines from Jay’s books. So there is nothing I can say to existing More fans. You are going to devour and treasure this book. Lucas is a spin-off from the More series. Who can forget the Preston brothers? This book is a true standalone, but existing fans will love the way Jay seamlessly tied everything together.
I was about to compare Jay’s writing to Colleen Hoovers, and I remembered an old review I wrote in July 2013. I’ll just re-quote it. “More Than This by Jay McLean is one of those books that will stick with me forever…just like Colleen Hoover’s Slammed and Hopeless.” So buckle up and get ready for a rollercoaster ride of the feels in this emotionally gripping new book from Jay.
For new Jay McLean readers or if you're considering reading Lucas - See above. I think it says it all. Get this book. You might want to plan for a book hangover that will stay with you for a long time.

Let me start off by saying that if you have a problem with books about cheating, you should avoid this one. BUT if you believe in second chance romances, this book is going to rock your world. This story wasn’t easy to read at times. There was a point where I knew where this story was headed, but it didn’t make it any easier to read. Torrid Affair is packed with heartfelt emotion and felt real and raw. This book ripped my heart out and made me want to kick my Kindle at times. Reading this book was a lot like watching a car accident. You want to turn away, but you can’t. That’s how I felt while reading this Torrid Affair. I couldn’t turn away and put this book down if I tried. I can’t wait to read other books by this author!

I admit that sometimes I get a little disappointed when a book ends with a cliffhanger. It didn’t happen this time. I was hoping this story wouldn't end. Yeah, I know I sound a little like a plot masochist. Why do I want to torture myself? Why would I want to wait for another book to be released? It’s simple. Romig is a master storyteller, and I can’t get enough of her writing. Cunning, the sequel to Betrayal surpassed all of my expectations. I set the bar pretty high when it comes to this writer. I loved Betrayal, but Romig knocked it out of the park with Cunning. Cunning has all of the elements I yearn for in a romantic thriller. This plot has a multi-layered, highly addictive and contagious mix of mind f*ckery, mystery, and suspense, as well as a whole lot of sexy! This book and this series should be high up on your reading list. Five stars!

I have been DYING for this book since I read Easy Virtue in 2014. When I found out about the release date, I created a countdown timer on my blog page. Obsessed? I’ll own it. This book was worth the wait.
I will not spoil Sweetest Venom for you but I’ll just say I wanted to kill, smack and hug each of the characters about ten times today. This book was devastatingly heartbreaking at times and pulled on my heart strings repeatedly. I feel a little effed by proxy from spending so such much time with Blaire and all of her “f*ckedupness.” I am probably just suffering from a two book hangover after going on a Mia Asher bender.
I am so happy that Mia took her time writing this book and didn’t succumb to all of the pressure of cranking out a sequel. She had fans, bloggers, and readers bugging the life out of her for this sequel. Sweetest Venom was worth the wait and then some! This sequel was the antidote I needed after the cliffhanger ending in Easy Virtue. Sweetest Venom is total Kindle Crack, and a must read!

I have to say that Elle Kennedy and Sarina Bowen scored a winning goal with Him. After reading Us, I decided they get to take home the coveted Stanley Cup! I am praying for a “hat trick” and we get a third book in this series about a gay teammate or something (hint hint can you write one?). I love this series and this writing team! I would recommend reading Him before reading Us to understand the boys' history. One-click this one.
