Veiligheid Netherlands recently tested babies and toddlers to see how attractive bottles of household cleaners are compared to toys by giving them the option. Surprisingly, they went more for the cleaner.
Kids were put at a table with a toy and household cleaner equidistant from them, and it was up to them to choose which was more appealing.
51% of the kids went for the cleaners...
...ESPECIALLY detergent pods.
Yikes.
