Kevin Doyle decided to honor his late wife and Star Wars megafan, Eileen, by walking all the way to San Diego Comic-Con from Rancho Obi-Wan, the famous Star Wars museum in Petaluma, California.

They both shared a unique bond with their love of comic books.
Shortly after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, Eileen passed away.
Although she has been gone since 2012, Doyle explained to ABC San Diego he has still been "stuck" on that day. As an act of closure, Doyle decided to walk to the convention.
Throughout his monthlong journey, he walked with a donations basket for Eileen's Little Angels, a nonprofit that helps children going through chemo.
