The braised short ribs are intense. There are over 14 ingredients, and the preparation time takes hours upon hours.

As an alternative, buy a premade beef patty and grill it up with your own bacon and other fixings: 12 minutes.

It’s what you add on top that will make a plain burger be an “insane” burger!

2. Red Lamb Curry: 18-24 hours

Some curries require long hours of cooking to bring out the flavors of spices.

As an alternative, try Campbell’s Go™ Coconut Curry With Chicken And Shiitake Mushrooms: 3.5 minutes

Campbell’s Go™ is so close to take-out coconut curry…
It could file a restraining order.

3. Amish Friendship Bread: 10 Days

Friendship bread is particularly time consuming because of the communal aspect of making the bread. For 10 days, the ingredients are passed around to create the dough.

As an alternative, try finding breads at a local farmer’s market instead of baking it yourself: Probably less than 10 days

4. Shoyu Ramen: 2 Days

There are over 16 ingredients in a good bowl of shoyu ramen, and the broth making process can take hours.

As an alternative, upgrade your 35 cent ramen with soy sauce, sriracha, scallions, and an egg: 3 minutes

Not only does this recipe take 24 hours, you need to stir the sauce every 15 – 30 minutes to prevent burning on the bottom of the pot. Ain’t nobody got time for that.

As an alternative, buy pre-made sauce at the grocery store and spice it up with your own veggies and spices, like basil and garlic.
