10 Common Things Every K-Pop Fan Has Done At Least Once In Their Life

K-Pop is not just another music genre; it is a whole new world, and we fans know that better than anyone. The K-Pop community is full of fun, laughs, good content, and amazing people. And just like in every other community, as members we tend to do a few things that defines us, or should I say that we share a single brain cell? Here are some things K-Pop fans have done at least once in their lives, even if they don't want to admit it.

1. Learn a choreography of our favorite group

Even if you do not know how to dance, you have at least try to learn the choreography to your favorite song. It is just impossible to resist trying those amazing movements, or at least until we realize they are not as easy as they seem.

2. Wake up around 4 am to watch the newest comeback of our favs (international fans crying together)

A new comeback is always so anticipated and exciting. We cannot wait to watch the MV, listen the new songs and create new theories about the storyline. But since we live far away from Korea, we need to sacrifice a bit of our sleep to catch up, but it is just a small price to pay for the art we are always given

3. Done multiple online test to see the compatibility we have with our idols, specially with our bias

This is probably something we don't fully admit, but at least we have done one of those soulmate quizzes. The thrill of waiting who will you get is just so exciting and even more when you get your bias

4. Pretend that we are in a K-Pop group and we are having a big performance

Don't even try to deny this! We all have been there. Imagining us in those amazing outfits, singing and dancing on stage and having the time of our lives. Maybe our only audience is our pets, but we sure give it all in the performance.

5. Pretend we are doing a V live or an Interview

This is a little related with the previous one, the dream of being an idol. Imagining having a V live with our members and fans is just so much fun. Thank god one has seen us do this because they'll probably think we have a bit problem...

6. Ask for links...

We all have been there, asking all through social media if anyone has links to concerts, music shows or programs. In some cases it might not be the most legal thing but I guess some have to do what they have to do.

7. Buy at least one official or unofficial merch of our favs

It does not matter if you're part of the broke portion of the fandom; you have at least one K-Pop related item laying down in your room. And well, if you are a collector, I bet you are running out of space to put all your merch.

8. Create an entire new language while trying to sing in korean

We all have that song that makes us "fluent" in korean, or at least we think so. Just God knows what we are saying... or maybe not. But the important part is our charisma, confidence, and enthusiasm. Let's just hope we are not invoking anything we don't want to.

9. Have a K-Pop idol as our phone's wallpaper

This is the easiest way to spot any K-Pop fan; just look at the back of their phone or their lockscreen. I guess we just love seeing the face of our idols through out the day; and it gives us energy to carry out our other daily activities.

10. Watch unsubbed contenct just because our favs look beautiful and also laughing even if we have no clue whats going on

We just love watching our boys and girls having fun even if we have no idea what is going on. I mean, we could just wait a little for those subs, but who can actually wait?
