13 GIFs You’ll Only Understand If You’ve Worked With a Stereotypical Millennial

All the feels of working with an entitled, self-centered, twenty-something brat.

Millennials — you either hate them, or you are one. This group of newly minted real-life adults often gets a bad rap for being lazy, entitled and self-absorbed. And the truth is, if you’ve ever worked with a twenty-something, you know that most usually are.

What exactly about them makes your blood boil? Probably...

    1. The incessant Disney, Bachelor in Paradise and/or Teen Mom references

    2. Hopping on the bandwagon for literally everything

    3. Thinking 30 marks the beginning of an AARP membership

    4. Talking about “the struggle” when Mom and Dad pay their phone bill (and grande single-shot mocha with six pumps of sweetener)

    5. Not yet being jaded by the world and foolishly thinking travel, connecting with one’s inner-self and a debt-free life is attainable

    6. Their inflated sense of being a “badass social influencer”

    7. The constant over-sharing of personal stories and details

    8. Lacking the ability to “read the room” in regards to conversation topics

    9. The inability to start a task without explicit instruction, plenty of collaborative brainstorming and never-ending hand-holding

    10. Listening to them go on, and on, and on about their “side hustle”

    11. Getting tangled in their fairy lights from their Coachella-inspired workspace

    12. Thinking coworkers care about how their most recent Tinder date went, despite being incompatible astrologically

    13. And just a general misunderstanding of how corporate life (and the real world) actually works

And how do I know all this? Because I am an asshole millennial
