37 Products You’ll Wanna Gift To Your Skin This Summer

Your body's largest organ deserves to feel hydrated, protected, and downright glowing this season.

    1. A Korean microdermabrasion mitt you can use in the shower when you wanna buff away dry, dead skin (but feel like you're getting a spa treatment). The exfoliation comes from a skin-smoothing viscose fiber lining, and once it's cleared away all the flaky stuff, your skin will have an easier time absorbing lotions and creams. Sundress season, we see you 👀

Promising review: "I love these mitts so much, I wish I found them sooner! For me, brushes and loofas don’t give me enough exfoliation and they fall apart and get gross too fast. These mitts are perfect. Also, they are way more cost effective and easier to use than a sugar scrub type product. I feel like these mitts will last a long time, and they’re easy to clean and have a loop so you can hang them to dry in your shower. I keep one at my place and one at my boyfriend's. They are a little rough so it’s not something you want to use more than twice per week, and use gentle motions in sensitive areas. My skin is so smooth after I use these and it’s helped me get rid of ingrown hairs on my bikini line. Just make sure to moisturize after using! I’m excited to use it for when I apply fake tan in the summer months." —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $7.99 (also available as a pair).

    2. Caudalie's Grape Water Moisturizing Face Mist to spritz on your mug when you start to feel sweat creeping down your forehead. It's made of 100% grape water to soothe and hydrate, and some genius reviewers say they stick it in the fridge for an even greater cooling effect!

Whenever I feel my skin getting irritated, I just spray this on to help heal/soothe it. This product lessened the redness on my face and helped improve the overall texture/appearance of my skin. Also started using this on my mom two days ago and we've noticed a lot of the red texture on her skin fading out. Love this and will continue repurchasing!!" —MargaritaYanga

Promising review: "I struggle with acne and needed something to help calm and soothe my skin when it was really irritated. My skin tends to be dry right after cleaning and spraying this leaves my skin feeling so comfortable and like I haven’t done anything to it. Back to normal happy skin feel. It is part of my daily routine now. Absolutely love this!" —CliftonM2121

Promising review: "Best SPF product to apply under makeup! Not greasy or white, goes on clear and dries matte. Perfect for summer!" —breemarieee

Promising review: "This product is revolutionary. It is unbelievably lightweight and feels like nothing on the skin. Humans of all skin tones can wear it because it goes on clear. Does not break my sensitive skin out. Does not smell like anything. Acts as a primer and keeps my makeup in place after selling at a farmers market (five hours), pool party, and barbecue (four hours), so nine hours in total — a total game changer for my oily, acne-prone skin. Not even a regular makeup primer does that for me. Plus, I wasn't burnt at all in the Arizona heat. That AND it kept my makeup in place? I'm repurchasing as long as Supergoop! continues to make it." —WendyTan

My favorite thing is that it’s a one-and-done product: sunscreen, acne prevention, and makeup prep all in one easy step. The fewer products used on oily, acne-prone skin, the better! I am 39 and still have much of the same skin concerns I’ve always had and it would have been great to have this product 20 years ago. I have tried other, much more expensive options, but this is best-in-class for us acne-prone folks. I am already on my second bottle and will continue to repurchase. The callous on my big toe is very, very hard and the nearby callous along the side of the foot , while not as large and hard, is also difficult. I have used this device three days in a row, taking off a little at a time and not applying pressure. I apply lotion before and after using it and both areas show substantial improvement. It is important that you do not rush this process. Just a little at a time. Remember how long it took for that callous to form! Because I have been gentle and careful I have no pain. Cleaning is simple. I wholeheartedly recommend!" —desertdragonfly

With these foot mask "socks," you just cut out holes to stick your feet into, leave them on for an hour to let the gel soak into your feet, and you should start to see the dead skin peel away within seven days (with remarkably softer feet in two weeks!).

Promising review: "This product does what it claims to do. The softness of my feet, particularly my heels, improved greatly after one application. I'm currently peeling away the fruits of application two and learned that my heels and balls of my feet had thicker layers of dead skin than I thought. My feet feel and look great under all that dead skin so I'm very pleased with this product." —IWantMyChinaPig

Promising review: "I have rosacea and pink undertones, and this is the ONLY product I’ve found that helps. Lightweight, dewy finish. I don’t even wear foundation anymore. Will definitely purchase again." —tbelz91

Promising review: "My makeup artist used this on my wedding day and I was so blown away with the coverage of my redness. I ordered a jar for myself shortly after and it’s quickly become a holy grail in my skincare/makeup routine. I don’t even need to use green concealer if I put this on under my makeup. The SPF is an added bonus!" —MariaTheGreek

Promising review: "Best summer blush. My two favorite things about this blush are its versatility and its longevity. It always makes me look naturally flushed from being in the sun, even if I've been inside all day 🤭 I like that it looks different on me and my sister, even though we have similar skin tones! And since it's an oil, it's great for wearing to work (I work in food service) since I don't have to worry about it transferring onto my mask or fading before the end of my shift. Love this!!" —Sahrang H.

Promising review: "First of all, it's everything. E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. This is extremely compatible with the glass skin look: It's super dewy but has massive staying power. I put this on at 4 p.m., I woke up at 6 a.m., and it's still on! I originally planned to only wear this on no makeup days as I was worried that, as an oil product, it may lift my makeup underneath. I can say now with confidence it doesn't mess with my base at all. It doesn't feel heavy, is easy to blend, and makes my skin look plump. I've been complimented on my skin, rather than my makeup, with this product on. I generally don't believe in hype, but I see why someone would be excited about this product — there's simply nothing like it, and it does a fantastic job. Looking forward to Youthforia future products!" —Lalita

Promising review: "I almost never write reviews for products, so this blush is even more spectacular. I have the shade Dusk, and I use it as a bronzey blush. I am also a hostess for a very large indoor/outdoor restaurant working mostly outside in 90-degree, humid Florida weather. I sweat almost all face makeup off. Until I tried this blush. After a long, strenuous shift, it was still visible and looked really pretty. The color is lovely, and it blends very well, but the staying power is incredible. Can't wait to try more shades!" —Rcromartie

Promising reviews: "As an oily skin girl, creams aren't typically my best friend, but it had such good reviews I decided to try it anyway. Let me tell you: This is the best moisturizer I have ever used. It's a cream, but it's not heavy whatsoever. No oily residue. It feels like I'm splashing water on my face. It's not like any cream that I've used before. It keeps me moisturized all day without making me oily. I've actually noticed that it helps keep my oils at bay longer than normal. It's a little pricier than what I would like to spend on a moisturizer, but it's totally worth the price." —KaylaAnnJ

"A little goes a long way, so even though the price tag was on the higher end, for what it does and how little I need, I don’t mind at all. In the summer, my face produces more oil, and my makeup usually disappears from the sweat and oil. I bought this and used it all summer under my makeup, and what a difference it makes. It’s moisturizing and refreshing but doesn’t feel heavy or greasy (or clogs the pores or breaks me out!),  and it almost mattifies my face. Makeup goes on smoother too. Overall, recommend if you’re looking for a moisturizing gel/cream that’s not heavy and doesn’t make your face an oil fest." —An25

    33. A fast-absorbing Malin+Goetz body lotion, which you definitely need if you're looking for hydration without heavy residue. The vitamin b5, avocado, and grapeseed oil-packed formula will keep dry skin happy for hours, and the bright, citrusy scent is a treat for your nose.

As someone with perpetually dry skin, even in the summer, I'm always on the lookout for moisturizers that'll keep me hydrated without it feeling like I'm wearing a second skin. The day I tried Malin + Goetz's body lotion, I had a bit of a 'Hallelujah' moment when I saw how easily it blended into my skin and felt how lightweight it was. It's a runnier consistency — but not greasy! — which makes it easier to rub in than heavy creams. I literally forgot I had it on soon after I applied it, and was only reminded of it when I happened to get a whiff of my arm, which had a light, fresh scent with a hint of fruity citrus. I also noticed that the red bumps I often have on the backs of my arms were markedly less prominent (hurray!). It's pricier than your average drugstore lotion, but for something that leaves my skin feeling so, just, LUSCIOUS, I think it's worth every penny. Plus, a little really does go a long way!

Promising review: "Helps smooth and moisturize without feeling sticky or greasy. Small amount goes a long way, so value is pretty good, too." —Reviewer

Promising review: "I love this so much, this is my new go-to sunscreen! I like the spray nozzle because it's convenient and I like the way this product absorbs in faster than other similar products I've tried in the past, leaving my skin feeling like skin. The scent is pleasant and not too strong. I've been using it regularly for a month now and the bottle is still pretty much full, so a little goes a long way." —pumpkinbob
