You can pop into this event any weekend from May 5 to June 3. Here’s a sneak peek at what you’ll experience!

On select days, you'll have a front-row seat to music history with live performances from hip-hop OGs Melle Mel and Scorpio.

Fun fact: Melle Mel produced an original track just for this event, called "Animals and MCs," with fellow pioneer Grandmaster Caz.

And the legendary Sugarhill Gang will perform some of their iconic hits.

Seeing them perform will truly be a rapper's delight. They'll be at the Zoo on select dates!

DJs will be there spinning authentic BX beats that’ll make it impossible for you not to groove.

Watch authentic street art come to life with renowned graffiti artists Tats Cru (pictured below), John “Crash” Matos, Andre Trenier, Giz, Shiro, Son of a Finch, and more.

The iconic Grandmaster Caz will teach you the art of rhyming so you can achieve your true destiny of becoming an MC.

Marvel at original artwork created by the Bronx Zoo’s animal friends (also known as artists-in-residence).

Art by the Animals Enrichment is one of the ways the Bronx Zoo keeps their animals active and healthy, exercising their minds and bodies. For their animals, the process of applying paint to canvas can be enriching and stimulating.

It wouldn’t be a Bronx function without a tribute to salsa and mambo.
