Directly support a student who is at risk for leaving Brockport, or not graduating, because of financial need.  
**2\. Flying Start Flying Finish Fund:**
Support the needs of students related to academic initiatives, such as the cost of attendance at a conference, student project supplies, application fees to submit papers/research, etc.  
**3\. Academic Success Center Fund:**
Support the needs and priorities of the student Academic Success Center, such as assistive technology, skills development workshops, advisement assistance, and student retention programs.

Help fund the continual beautification of campus and the placement of art throughout it.  
**2\. Alumni House:**
Built in 1872, Alumni House is a Victorian home located at the east entrance of the College at 142 Utica Street. As the former home of principals and presidents, it is now maintained by the Office of Alumni Engagement with support from donors.  
**3\. Sankofa Dance Fund:**
Support the College’s Sankofa African Dance and Drum Ensemble, which retrieves the cultural essences of the past and brings them into the present. Sankofa presents dance and theater works expressing the dynamic presence of African culture in America.

Support a student who is involved in an unpaid capacity with Brockport Student Government and exhibits strong leadership skills and a desire to make a positive difference in the College community and beyond.  
**2\. Brockport Eagle Service Trips:**
Support Brockport students on service trips across the globe. For example, students can spend their winter break in Mexico helping families living in poverty, working with schools and orphanages, building homes, supporting disaster relief efforts, and supplying necessary materials to organizations.   
**3\. Bloomberg Terminals Fund:**
Support the Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab on campus, allowing students to earn the Bloomberg Essentials Training Program and the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification that integrates classroom theory and real-world practice. A Bloomberg terminal is an industry-leading computer software system that provides real-time financial news, market data, research, analytics, and forecasting to more than 320,000 financial organizations globally.

Support Brockport nursing students participating in clinical programs and service trips worldwide. This experiences allows them to gain a greater understanding of the worldwide healthcare industry and develop a deeper appreciation for different cultures.

Support unique research opportunities for undergraduates. Depending on the discipline, students work in field, laboratory, studio, or library settings doing experiments, creative work, or original research that provide transformative experiences and deep learning.

This scholarship is awarded to first-year students studying meteorology, geology, earth science, or related programs at The College at Brockport.
