6. Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch

While boasting the powerhouse talent of Ashley Tisdale in the title role, Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch is the lesser-known attempt at highlighting the teenage witch's television escapades. The series sees our lead heroine as she's torn between her mortal life at high-school while preparing for her destiny to rule as the witch princess of the magical realm. This version of the character, while savvier and more adept than her predecessors, lacks the typical commonality that allowed audiences to connect with the character from her inception.

5. Sabrina's Secret Life

A follow-up to the original 90's animated series (however without the same cast), Sabrina's Secret Life followed the title character as she attempted to make her way through high school while trying (and failing) to avoid falling into the same trappings as she did in her former series. This version of Sabrina is more reserved and often found herself unable to use her powers as well as her predecessors, usually projecting them through a wand rather than her finger. While not without the spark of the other series, Sabrina's Secret Life was mostly memorable for it's fresh take on the turning Salem into a teenage boy storyline the sitcom also attempted.

4. The Sabrina the Teenage Witch Show

Closely based on the original Archie Comics version of the character, The Sabrina the Teenage Witch Show was the original television incarnation of our beloved witch. This Sabrina was defiant, she rebelled against the typical "bad witch" norm that her aunts were constantly trying to impose upon her. While this Sabrina at times found herself falling into petty ways to deal with her issues, she still struck a love in the hearts of young children at the time. Especially as her escapades lead her into some fun hijinks with the rest of the Riverdale gang.

3. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

Even though there's a nature to the series that reads more American Horror Story than Boy Meets World, Netflix's chilling-adaptation of our teenage witch is still a magical time. Set in the universe of her Archie couterparts in Riverdale, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina takes the character we know and love and pairs her with a gothic tone that sees her facing off with demons, Madame Satan and the devil himself. While the series took a while to find its footing, Kiernan Shipka's winning performance was one to rival our main girl, Melissa Joan Hart. While watching Sabrina be crushed inside a sarcophagus probably wouldn't be great moment in the sitcom, it still had this viewer hooked to the very last drop of blood.

2. Sabrina: The Animated Series

This may be higher up for purely nostalgic reasons (as well as it's connection to the original live-action series) but Sabrina: The Animated Series was a genuinely good time. Voiced by Melissa Joan Hart's younger sister Emily Hart, this Sabrina was vibrant and spunky in all the ways that make a good teen show heroine. The animated nature of the show also allowed the series the ability to delve into Sabrina's powers more in-depth as she travelled through medieval times and video games. Hell, she even turned the Eiffel Tower into a human! Plus, we'll always be grateful for this show turning Hilda into a style icon.

1. Sabrina the Teenage Witch

Clearly the number one, the OG live-action Sabrina the Teenage Witch was everything. Melissa Joan Hart just had it all: charisma, uniqueness, nerve, talent...everything that would've made this iteration of Sabrina the perfect contestant on RuPaul's Drag Race. Sitcom Sabrina had the advantage of tugging on our nostalgic heart with her exuberance and MJH's cheeky personality, often making us jealous that we also couldn't change our outfit with the zap of our finger. MJH's Sabrina lived our innermost desires, and she did so with her goofy aunts Hilda and Zelda, and hilarious talking cat Salem by her side. Also, who could forget her iconic dance with Britney Spears?! Not me that's for sure.
