In the footage, which went viral last month, a police car can be seen chasing a stolen white sedan as it speeds around Regents Park in western Sydney.

The footage is narrated by a man in a separate car, who uses his dashcam to record the entire chase as well as the aftermath, which shows a police officer pull a man out of the stolen vehicle and knee his head into the curb twice.

The man driving the stolen vehicle was charged with a number of offences, including driving a stolen car and resisting arrest.

NSW Police told BuzzFeed News on July 18 that it was conducting a review of the incident. Today, it confirmed that the investigation continues.
