Numerous reports have surfaced claiming that Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin is talking about making a GoT film after the series ends.
The announcement garnered quite a lot of (expected) attention.

“There will be a movie but I will not be involved,” Martin was reported as saying by The Daily Star, but unfortunately an HBO rep told BuzzFeed News that these reports are false. There are no plans for a Game of Thrones movie (at least not yet).
Further, the Westeros.org Twitter account tweeted to let everyone know that everything wasn't as it seems.
Reports that #GameOfThrones movie is in the works are based on fake quotes from @GRRMSpeaking, according to @HBO. Tabloids are shameless.
Oh well, guess we'll just have to wait until Season 6!
