Australian Olympian and Cirque du Soleil performer Lisa Skinner was hospitalised last night after falling midway through a performance in Brisbane.

Thirty-five-year-old Skinner fell about 5 metres before landing just a few feet away from the audience. She was performing in her hometown.
Audience members have posted on Facebook about the horrific fall, saying Skinner "didn't even try to do anything", just plummeted and lay face down.
It was reported on Monday morning that Skinner was in a "stable condition" in hospital as doctors monitored her for spinal injuries.
