1. The girlfriend who never leaves for long.

"Em often leaves me sticky notes around the house when she goes away for short periods of time. Like, she left one on the mirror that said, 'I wish I was looking at that mug too'... And once, she left one in my shoe, and I kept it in there for weeks until the note just disintegrated." —Max

"When my daughter was 9, we were on vacation at the beach, and she woke up at 6 a.m. to set up all of our beach chairs and buy breakfast from my favorite bakery. When her dad and I woke up, we found a note telling us to go to the beach and relax." —Cathy

"I was on the bus and a woman was sitting with her adorable 2-year-old daughter, who was yelling 'surprise!' at her mom nonstop, and the mom was acting VERY SERIOUSLY SURPRISED EVERY SINGLE TIME. Then the girl turned to the rest of the passengers and began yelling 'surprise!' for everyone on the bus to act surprised. Everyone did and it was the cutest thing ever." —Leslie

4. The boyfriend who planned it perfectly.

"When he walked me to my car on our second date, he purposely had me stand on the sidewalk and he was on the street, so there was about a foot difference and he could easily kiss me. He told me later that he'd planned it that way." —Andrea

"A few years ago, I adopted a dog who had been found near death on the streets of Puerto Rico. I brought her home to the house I lived in with my family, and my mom developed a very close bond with Sahara. Last year, I moved away and took Sahara with me, and now my mom sends cards and gifts to both me and Sahara on every conceivable holiday and proudly drives a car with a bumper sticker that reads 'I love my granddog.'" —Kayla

8. The couple who had an unexpectedly sweet start to their date.

"On our second date, my boyfriend and I both showed up at the movie theater with two tickets. Individually, we'd each gotten them ahead of time so we could pay for the other person. It was definitely a good start." —Jana

"I quit my last job without having anything else lined up — I just hit a wall and couldn't do it anymore. When I walked into my apartment on the night of my last day, all of my friends jumped out from hiding places — my wife had planned a party.
