If you know anyone black-owned restaurants or other businesses in the DMV area, tell them to get listed with the Virginia Black Business Directroy (VABBD) You can also used the VABBD to look for different black-owned buusiness to buy from and use their services.

Located in Downtown Fredericksburg, lies one of the best Jamaican restaurants I have ever eaten at in Virginia, Pimenta. Ray Simmonds’, managed to bring all the comforting flavors and cultural elements from Jamaican cuisines to our small town here in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

My favorite thing about Southern food is the way it not only how good it tastes, but it feels so comforting and homey. At Hen Quarter you can get some amazing southern food from their Chicken and Waffles to their Shrimp and Grits, Hen Quarters is a place I definitely want to try!

There a many Dickey's BBQ Pit Franchises throughout the United States. I have only visited the Fredericksburg location (black-owned), and the food is really good! The brisket and the ribs are delicious, I would highly recommend going there.
