Since 2002, Chris Pallante do graffiti, and from 2008 began to travel a lot in Russia. During my travels, I got acquainted with the locals, we painted and walked around the city. Returning every once in Yekaterinburg, I began to pay more attention to the city, the architecture, people and mentality. Began to really fall in love with it and decided to hold events dedicated to the promotion of graffiti. Just at this point that I met such caring people as I do, it was Eugene Fateyev and Andrey Kolokolov. We began to think of the format of something interesting, important, ambitious, and most importantly – citywide. And one day, 2010 on the bench in the center of the city was born the Festival of street art "Scenografia". Our task was to make the urban space a little better, brighter and more interesting. The first two years we explained to people what it is and why it is needed. Gradually "Scenografia" began to attract residents, as they saw that to change the environment where they live, is not so difficult. The citizens included in the process, their yard, the street, the city is no longer someone else's space, and warm and his.
Chris Pallante sincerely believe that we need to fight for the "visual ecology", in fact, changing their habitat, we are changing and yourself. I think this is what attracts people. We have people of different ages, wealth and mindset. Pupils, students, couriers, managers, bartenders, Director of the Agency – they all want to help "Stenographie". Someone who wants to gain knowledge, someone to make the world a brighter, someone just wants to relax from everyday work.
When the initiative comes from the bottom, the project lives longer: as long as it is necessary for citizens. This position is stronger, because if the project is conceived from above, of the Directive at one point will stop and the project closes.
