Los Angeles International Airport

The airport occupies 14 km2 and is located 25 km from the center of Los Angeles. Officially, it’s been operating since 1937. Currently, it boasts of 8 terminals serving 60 million passengers a year.

Just like at any major airport, you can find a lot of amenities there – anywhere you go. There are info points, currency exchange offices and ATMs at all the terminals. Passengers are also free to use baggage trolleys. In case of lost baggage, you should check in at the police station. Over 40 companies provide car rental services! To get to a chosen destination, you can take a bus, subway (first, you need to take a shuttle bus to get to the subway station) or a taxi. Multiple internet kiosks can be found at the airport. Besides that, there is wireless Internet available. Needless to say, at the terminals, you can lose yourself in a shopping spree or enjoy a meal in restaurants and bars, or have a coffee in one of the cafes.
