5 Ways To Stand Out For Halloween In 2017 & Be "Punny"

Be that person who stands out from the crowd! That is always what our parents told us since we were little right? Make the people think and figure out what you are for your costume. I realized that my costume of a "biker chick" for halloween this year just didn't cut it for me. "oh another biker chick just wearing black pants and a leather jacket." I want to really stand out and create a costume that wont be forgotten. I have some prime examples of some people who went all out this year and definitely made me laugh. So lets start with the first way to really make yourself stand out next halloween.

1. DIY- use you own materials from everyday life to create your own!

Go around your house and get a bunch of random materials and see what you can create from it! This girl killed it and was able to be a "Cereal" Killer at barely any cost. She really made the crowd look without her having to spend over $20 for some cat outfit that half the population wears. I love her creativeness!

2. Grab someone to pair up with!

Having a partner for a costume most definitely gets the crowd riled up! It makes the whole costume come together and shows how creative the two of you are! Not only is this hilarious because they are "Deviled" Eggs but they also have each other to laugh about how they have an egg on their shirt.

3. Create an idea that most, if not all people universally know

Who doesn't know what the place Dunkin Donuts? This costume is perfect for people to analyze and really think hard on why they have two inflatable donuts around their waist. Once people figure out why they have basketball shoes on and are "dunkin" an invisible basketball it is a hilarious and creative twists on this coffee place.

4. Make it Simple yet BRILLIANT

This is by far my fav costume I saw! They literally have written all over them of what they are. The band the "Black-Eyed Peas" is shown on their face and clothes. This costume probably took less than 10 minutes but showed everyone else up who spent hours on their "zombie" makeup.

5. Use modern day terminology & turn it into reality

Ohhhh the amount of times i've been a victim of "photo-bombing." This couple killed it. They took what most people are familiar with happening in photos and made it come to life use with a few props.
