16. Boone's death

Let's agree to forget the Boone and Shannon drama and accept that his was Lost’s first big death. It broke the illusion that main characters don't die. Ironic how Boone survived a massive plane crash and died because of a smaller, second aircraft fall.

15. Hurley finds out that Ethan wasn't on the plane

Hurley does the math and we cut to creepy Ethan hanging around Charlie and Claire. It gives me chills just thinking about Ethan's face.
