"We have to go back!"
Season 4, Episode 14: "There's No Place Like Home (Part 2)"
Remember when Ben Linus had to move a frozen wheel and make the island disappear in order to save it?
Season 1, Episode 23: "Exodus, Part 1"
In case the nickname banter and his defined jawline were not enough for you before, you probably started liking Sawyer a bit more after this scene.
Season 2, Episode 1: "Man of Science, Man of Faith"
When we thought Season 1 couldn't be topped, Season 2 gave us Desmond. One of the best character introductions on TV, the full video is worth re-watching here.
Season 5, Episode 17: "The Incident"
We may not have liked Juliet before, but they did a good job ending her story arc with this scene: Sawyer crying along with the whole sacrifice and nuclear explosion was intense and emotional.
Season 6, Episode 18: "The End"
This was a very controversial episode — probably the most hated ending of a series after Game of Thrones — but still iconic. It circled back to the very beginning and we were graced with the presence of Vincent.
Season 3, Episode 11: "Tricia Tanaka Is Dead"
The hippie era episodes were a great comedic relief and it was great to see Hurley with a happy storyline for once. In particular this scene featuring Hurley and Charlie taking the Dharma bus for a test ride, going from sure-death to "Little Miss Sunshine" vibes in a couple of minutes, was very enjoyable.
Season 1, Episode 25: "Exodus, Part 2"
What a way to end the first season. We had to hold on that cliffhanger for months. Ahhh, this was great TV.
Season 2, Episode 10: "The 23rd Psalm"
An epic stare down with an unforgettable character. The simpler times, when a black smoke monster and a polar bear were the island's biggest mysteries.
Season 6, Episode 14: "The Candidate"
Oh my, this was so heartbreaking to watch. The saddest death-in-water scene since Titanic.
Season 1, Episode 25: "Exodus, Part 2"
Let's be honest, Michael was not a fan-favorite character, but his Walt cry was unforgettable. Probably the first meme from this show.
Season 1, Episode 4: "Walkabout"
This was the best flashback episode by far. John Locke's going from frustrated office worker living a dull life to a strong and dangerous man was very well written.
Season 3, Episode 23: "Through the Looking Glass"
Almost as iconic as Dawson's crying face, here is Jack's "we have to go back" cry, for your enjoyment.
Season 4, Episode 5: "The Constant"
Everything on this episode was brilliant, perfect. One of the best episode of TV ever made. And the phone call at the end was the cherry on the cake.
Season 3, Episode 23: "Through the Looking Glass"
The most iconic scene. Anyone else thought about getting this tattooed? No, just me? Fine.
