Unless your New Year’s Resolution was to start living under a rock in 2020, you’ve watched (or at LEAST heard of) The Circle on Netflix.
I personally found out about the show from my sister, and then my best friend, so when I woke up this weekend, I pressed play on Netflix. My reaction to the first few episodes went like so:
My experience watching #TheCircleNetflix: Episode 1: Okay... Episode 2: Oh okay Episode 3: OH OKAY!!!
By the third episode, I was entirely HOOKED. I was sitting on my couch shouting my rankings into the universe-- thank God I live alone!
I mean.... the players are amazing.
The competition & strategy is unmatched.
The humor is so perfect.
And the drama is everything.
But I have one small, tiny question:
Are we never going to address that there is NO way The Circle is actually voice activated?
I mean, Apple's Siri doesn't even work that well.
The things the players say to the "voice activated" Circle would just.... not work.
They'll be like "do this emoji" and signal something with their hands, and that emoji will show up... No.
There are 100% OBVIOUSLY people who are watching the cameras from a control room and then typing what the players are saying and nobody is talking about it!
Are they fooling anyone? Are we going to just sit here and not address it? Is nobody going to say anything? What are your theories? Omg.
