Nyle DiMarco Called Out Paparazzi At The VMAs Who Yelled At Him Even Though He's Deaf

Uhh guys, that's not the way to get his attention.

Hi, hello, and welcome to another edition of my favourite show – When Celebrities Drag the Paparazzi. Today's special guest is Nyle DiMarco. Maybe you've heard of him.

If you haven't, he was the winner (sorry for spoilers) of America's Next Top Model back in 2014.

And if you still don't know who he is, then oh lord have you been missing out.

Recently, Nyle attended the VMAs. Here he is, looking handsome as hell.

But when he left the event, Nyle tweeted a video of the paparazzi yelling at him so they could take his picture. That might not seem out of the ordinary, but uh...Nyle's deaf. And that's a pretty well known fact!

retweet if you can hear paparazzis yelling to my deaf-ass ears lmao

As soon as Nyle tweeted the video, fans immediately commented on the mistake.

@NyleDiMarco The best one is the guy yelling “NYLE?” ... you would think paparazzi would know about the people the shoot 😅

And seeing as Nyle seemed to find it somewhat amusing, his fans tried to see the funny side to it too.

    The Humor i just can't.. @NyleDiMarco you just the best!!🤣👌 https://t.co/wK1pdmmuP1

The paps yelled at Nyle to turn to the left like he was gonna say "oh to the left? Sure thing." And strike a dramatic pose. https://t.co/Un9TbKJ70S

Someone even realised that the paps were calling Nyle "Kyle" which obviously isn't his name.

@NyleDiMarco "Hey, Kyle! Turn your shoulder to the left, Kyle!"

@NyleDiMarco I swear they called you Kyle and then asked you to turn to your left lol

While others had flashbacks to a similar moment that just so happened to be broadcast on national TV.

@NyleDiMarco Its like when @RyanSeacrest was so happy about an American Idol audition and tried to high five a blind guy. Lmao. https://t.co/TGyLpRgKtp

But Nyle didn't seem to be mad about what happened. Instead, he revealed how to get his attention in the future.

@Sharvesini Deaf culture: wave your hand to get my attention, if you can’t reach my shoulder to tap :)

Let's hope the paps have taken note of that.
