Chrissy Teigen And John Legend Both Just Roasted Each Other In The Cutest Exchange Ever

"I am amazed by the woman that you’ve become. And I’m truly glad that the rest of the world has finally found out about it, too."

You don't need me tell you that Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are absolute couple goals. They are one of the cutest, not to mention most hilarious, celebrity couples and that's just a fact.

So, when John introduced Chrissy to the stage to collect her award for Glamour's Women of the Year, we expected a speech that was equal parts funny and adorable. Of course, John absolutely delivered. Grab the tissues, folks!

He started by cracking the first of many jokes, introducing himself as "John, also known as Chrissy Teigen's trophy husband," before adding, "Chrissy likes to take me out on the town and show me off a little."

He went on to joke about what an inspiration Chrissy is, saying "she’s the kind of woman you write songs about. Huge, international, award-winning songs ... One of them went to #1 on Billboard charts." You know the song, right?

John even made a comment about how Chrissy is now the first thing he gets asked about by fans. "The number one comment I get from people who USED to be MY fans is how much they LOVE Chrissy. She gets bigger cheers than I do at my own concerts."

But it wasn't all just cracking jokes — John soon switched track slightly and commended Chrissy for her use of social media and how she not only makes people laugh, but isn't afraid to speak out about important subjects.

If you speak up about the things that you believe in, whether it’s immigration rights, postpartum depression or the joys of chicken pot pie—and if you do it authentically and without presumption, you can enlighten another human being, you can brighten people’s day. What a gift that is. And what a time to do it, right now, when it’s so important to amplify voices of reason, not shut them down.

He rounded off his speech by recalling a story of how Chrissy broke down in tears in her dressing room at the Time 100 Gala, attended by the likes of Oprah and Michelle Obama, because she didn't feel like she belonged in their company.

But John sweetly said of his wife: "I’m here to say that you belong here. I think it has become very clear to Glamour magazine and to many millions of people around the world that you are more than worthy of this honour tonight."

Before introducing Chrissy to the stage, John said: "I am amazed by the woman that you’ve become. And I’m truly glad that the rest of the world has finally found out about it, too."

    Me right now.

Chrissy then took to the stage to collect the award, immediately clapping back at John for telling the story about Michelle Obama and Oprah because she planned on telling it first.

But, just like John, the jokes didn't last long, as she called him "the most incredible husband on the planet" before adding, "You are our everything. You completely made me a woman. We’ve grown together. Our family’s grown together. Our careers have grown together."

But in classic Chrissy Teigen style, she quickly stopped the tears and said, "This is so sappy, I’m sorry. I hate you, John. I really do."

Well, since me and my single ass are now emotionally exhausted, I guess it's time to sign off. Congrats, Chrissy!
