OK, so let's start by stating a couple of obvious facts before we get started. Fact 1: Jessica Biel is married to Justin Timberlake.
Fact 2: Justin Timberlake is a singer responsible for bangers such as "SexyBack" which, although it should be cringe by now, still absolutely slaps.
Fact 3: But, before he went solo, Justin was the poster boy/frontman/heartthrob of NSYNC.
And, although at the time it seemed that basically everybody was a fan of the "please break up with your boyfriend and date me instead" kings, some people just weren't into NSYNC at all. Take Jessica Biel, for example...
Yep, Jessica was not a fan, at all, which is fantastically awkward in 2019 if we go back to our first point — she's now married to "it's gonna be may" originator Justin Timberlake.
To make this whole situation even more delightful, Jimmy Fallon thought it'd be hilarious to surprise Jessica recently by showing her footage from 1999 where she throws a little shade at her future husband and his band.
In archived footage, Jessica is asked whether she's a fan of NSYNC. And, looking seriously unimpressed, she responds: "To be honest, I don't really listen...I haven't really...I mean, I know of them, of course, and I've heard of them and I've heard the music. I don't think I own any of their CDs."
But the real kicker came when Jessica concluded: "I'm not a huge fan. But...I mean, cool, I guess."
"I'm screwed," Jessica said after seeing the clip.
But it's fine because Jessica has righted her wrongs and is a fan of NYSNC now...right?
Hilariously, Justin and Jessica just celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary on Saturday. Let's hope this video doesn't stop them from getting to their eighth...
