Ed Sheeran Announced That He And His Wife Cherry Have Welcomed A Baby Girl And Also Revealed Her Unique Name

    It's yet more baby news in the land of celebs as Ed Sheeran just announced that his wife, Cherry Seaborn, has given birth to their first child together.

    Rumours about a potential baby began swirling last month, with reports suggesting that Cherry was actually already in her third trimester and due to give birth before the end of summer.

    And now, Ed has not only confirmed that the rumours were true, but also revealed that Cherry has given birth to a daughter in an adorable Instagram post.

    "Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter," Ed said alongside a picture of some socks. "We are completely in love with her."

    The "Shape Of You" singer also revealed his newborn daughter's pretty unique name — Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran, a nod to what Ed once called "the best books" he's ever read.
