John Legend Might've Just Bested Chrissy Teigen In A Twitter Exchange For The First Time Because 2020 Is Wild And Unpredictable

"What's mine is yours, what's yours is mine."

Chrissy Teigen has appeared in more than one of John Legend's music videos. I'm not saying she's the star of said videos...but I'm not not saying it either.

However, if you've ever wondered how much bank Chrissy made off those videos, well she just revealed all and it's the grand sum of ZERO dollars and ZERO cents.

Yep! You heard me! ZILCH! NOTHING! NADA!

After revealing that she was on the set of a new music video for John, Chrissy joked* about her lack of pay on Twitter, hilariously responding to a fan: "Please tell him to."

Nope!! Please tell him to. https://t.co/kYcS9b9wBu

*Maybe it wasn't a joke and Chrissy was invoking the tactic of public shame in order to get her coins, I don't know.

She later posted screenshots of fans who tagged John in their tweets, using Sonja and Luann from The Real Housewives of New York City as a reference.

It wasn't long until John caught wind of his name being dragged through the mud, quickly replying to Chrissy's tweet with a "what's mine is yours" stance.

@chrissyteigen What's mine is yours, what's yours is mine, my beautiful darling

But he then went one step further, reminding Chrissy that he had done work for her free of charge in the past too...

@chrissyteigen And of course I return the favor! @cravings

Just to hammer the point home, he posted another example.

    And another...

Did...John just get the better of Chrissy in a Twitter exchange? I mean, there's a first time for everything, and stranger things have happened in 2020 I suppose, but this is big news!

Anyway, based on the fact that Chrissy posted a video from the second day of filming, I guess it's fair to assume that she hasn't handed in her notice with immediate effect.

Video shoot day 2! If you guessed the video is for “wild” you would be correct!

To be fair, the fact that the music video appeared to be part of a bigger holiday with family and friends maybe helped.

Nothing like some sun, sea, and John Legend naked in the shower to make up for a lack of music video payment.

I guess we'll keep our eyes peeled for Chrissy's starring role!
