People Really Love What Chris Evans Had To Say About The #MeToo Movement

Listen more. Speak less.

Everybody loves Chris Evans, right? He's a very solid Chris.

Well now you have even more reason to love him because he just spoke out about being an ally for women during the #MeToo movement and tbh, everybody should listen.

The #MeToo and Time's Up movements began late last year after an overwhelming number of women, many of them A-list celebrities, came forward to reveal sexual abuse and assault claims in Hollywood and the wider movie industry.

In an interview with the New York Times, it was revealed that Evans had become submerged in “questions of gender inequality and the distribution of power” in the wake of #MeToo.

The interviewer explained that Evans had been “studying how to better conduct himself as an ally to women,” by reading “The Mother of All Questions”.

As a result he’s learned to “listen more and speak less,” especially when it comes to being an ally for women.

Chris explained: "The hardest thing to reconcile is that just because you have good intentions, doesn’t mean it’s your time to have a voice."

People really loved what he had to say.
