High diving is definitely up there on the list of things someone might not want to do voluntarily. We rounded up a few people to get lessons from a diving coach...and little did they know that by the end of the day, they'd be diving from the same height that Olympic divers do.
With a little help from an actual high-diving expert...
...these folks were about to become high-diving champions. But first, it was important that they asked all the necessary questions:
Some were challenging themselves to address traumatic experiences…
...while others were just plain ol' scared.
Overall, though, everyone was just feeding off the adrenaline.
And after shaking off the nerves, they slayed.
They did so well that they were getting a little cocky — so we had a little surprise for them... *evil laugh*
Instead of sticking to the original plan and heading back to work, they traveled to Mission Viejo to tackle the real deal:
And had all of us stressed the fuck out.
So stressed that some people couldn't even fathom being in the second half of the video.
Before jumping, Rob gave them a solid pep talk:
So they said a little prayer...
...and started jumping like it was second nature.
And since they were doing so well, Rob decided to turn things up a notch:
In case you're wondering, the 10 meter is the highest dive in the Olympics. NO BIG DEAL, right?!
But they took that leap of faith...
They did a good job! No one hit the board or got hurt! 🏊🏊
And by the end of the day, all the participants definitely had a deeper respect for divers *no pun intended.*
