Hello, please meet Matt. He hates shopping, and until recently he had the worst sock drawer I've ever seen.

I won't even show it to you, but please picture mismatched socks, stretched out underwear, and hole-ridden T-shirts. For a while, he only had one pair of sweatpants that he wore to the gym. The only thing to do was throw away the whole drawer and start fresh.

Since I live with him and feel sorry for him (and OK, love him very much) I decided to check out Basic Outfitters' new service that lets you customize a sock drawer with basics and then sends you the whole thing for — get this — only 60 bucks!

Here's what you get:* A four-pack of socks * A three-pack of boxers or briefs * A three-pack of shirts * A wild-card option, like more socks or a pair of sweatpantsThe sock options range from fun patterned ones to practical and sporty safe bets. You can pick boxers, briefs, or boxer briefs. For tops, there are tees, V-necks, and tanks. There are four sweatpant options, all in a fashionable jogger cut. Basic Outfitters says this is a $120 value, and unlike similar claims from infomercials, I'm inclined to believe them. Higher-end sweatpants normally go for around $60+, so you're already getting your money's worth. Matt went with some striped socks, patterned boxers, dark tees, and a pair of zippered joggers.

When it all arrived (promptly, I might add), it came in a surprisingly tiny box!

Look at lil' baby. Despite housing 11 whole items, it's as compact as can be. Everything was neatly packed in individual plastic bags. If you're the kind of person who gets things delivered to your office, you'll have no problem bringing this home with you.

As for the products, I was blown away by the excellent quality.

Seriously, these shirts are heaven! They're insanely soft and lightweight. They hang nicely on the wearer and have that "broken-in" feel.

The socks are standard, durable socks. I personally really like the stripes, but I'm sure the more practical options are nice as well. The boxers are soft to the touch, attractive, and great for the summer. I'm told they're very comfortable. And OK, I may have already stolen the joggers. They have zippered pockets and a drawstring, so you can order several sizes up if you want to get snuggly. They're huge on me, but I make it work with the drawstring. It's WORTH IT for such comfort.

Personally, I think this is a great value. You get the convenience of everything being mailed to your home and you can feel sure that each item will be top-notch quality.

And of course, the person actually wearing this stuff really liked it too!

"It was such a relief to get some new socks and other basics without having to go to the store. I hate shopping, waiting in line, trying things on, etc. There are so many options and it just stresses me out. This way, I get everything all at once and don't have to think about it. You can tell everything in the box is excellent quality. The sweatpants are definitely my favorite, but it's great to always have more super-soft T-shirts and socks in my drawer." —Matt
