35 Pet Supplies With Review Photos That Will Make You Gasp

Whether the gasp is from cuteness or a really dramatic before-and-after photo, it'll definitely be an audible one.

    1. A cloth cone of shame that's a lot more comfortable than the plastic one you get at the vet. Now your pet can properly relax after surgery, with the added bonus of looking like a sunflower.

Promising review: "This has made my life so much easier. My dog is so much more comfortable, and, although it’s a bummer for the dog to have to be in a collar, she looks hilarious and adorable. She’s periodically in a collar for days to weeks due to skin allergy/chewing issues. With the hard plastic collar, she can’t pick up a toy in her mouth or eat on her own. This collar allows for both — no more hand-feeding her twice per day for days to weeks at a time, and she has a bit more of a life because she can pick up toys and play more easily." —G.M.I.

Get it from Amazon for $17.99 (available in sizes XS–XXL).

    2. A pet brush with thin, long teeth capable of getting to the undercoat. A good brushing means a silkier coat — and best of all, less shedding.

Promising review: "Great product! I have a 5-month-old lab who would scream when I brushed her. With this brush she relaxes and I get five times as much hair off. I didn't know she had that much loose hair! Buying another for my brother!" —Katie Boone

Get it from Amazon for $14.95.

    3. An ear treatment to clean your pet's ears of buildup, and prevent inflammation and irritation. All the better for them to hear you tell them how much you them love one million times.

Promising review: "My dog has had chronic ear infections for years now. Every other month or so she’d get an infection and $200 later we’d have meds from the vet who confirmed what we already knew. I finally decided to give an unprescribed treatment a try and it worked AMAZINGLY. Followed the instructions for a week, and her ear is completely healed! Much easier to pay $20 as opposed to $200 when you get the same results! I highly recommend." —Fromal16

Get it from Amazon for $21.98+ (available in three sizes).

    4. A set of unreasonably adorable mini-sneakers your bird would love to play with. Who knew they were such a sneakerhead?

Bird holding shoe in their claw while biting the laces

Promising review: "My African Grey parrot loves her sneakers! I untie the laces and then retie two ends together and hang them over a perch or a cage bar. She patiently will link by link pull up her sneaker and take great pleasure in completely destroying them." —Cher M

Get a pack of six from Amazon for $10.99 (available in six pack sizes).

    5. A snout soother to help moisturize your dog's crusty nose. You hate chapped lips, so your dog definitely hates having a chapped nose.

before: dog nose looking crusty after: dog nose looking less crusty
same but with a different dog and a more extreme case

Promising review: "Well, I have never before been so shocked at the effectiveness of a product. Our 5-year-old Frenchie, Carol, had a nose that was so crusty it was sprouting these long strands of more crust. There was literally crust on crust on crust. The nose had strings of crust. This nose was so crusty and repulsive it was almost beautiful. Her nose might have resembled the rarest, most exotic geode to be mined from the rarest mine in Guatemala. A friend recommended Snout Soother for Carol's repulsive nose. I was worried she would just lick it all off and it wouldn't work. We never imagined she could have a regular, soft, moist nose again. Honestly this product is some black magic stuff! Unbelievable results in three to five days. No one paid me to write this." —Brittany

Get it from Amazon for $7.95.

    6. A pet hair remover that'll pull all the fur off your belongings. It turns out that white fur coat you own is actually a black denim jacket???

pile of fur next to gray stone

Promising review: "Holy cow this is magic. I have a 230-pound Mastiff. I have purchased any and everything claiming to get dog hair off car carpet. I have used at least three different vacuums and attachments. Lately I have been using a microfiber towel because it had some grip. Then this piece of magic arrived. It gets every single hair no matter how embedded. There were hairs I had a hard time removing with my fingers. The Fur-Zoff pulled them right out. This has cut my hair removal time in half! Thank you for this savior of a tool." —David R.

Get it from Amazon for $10.99.

    7. A heated water bowl for outdoor pets who might get a little thirsty while frolicking in the snow.

Promising review: "I got the bowl for the squirrels and birds who visit my patio. The bowl has been out overnight for several nights now in freezing temperatures. As advertised, the water does not freeze. It was snowing today. In the picture, you can see one of the many squirrels who visits the patio stopping by for a drink. A friend asked if the water gets warm. It does not." —MHHS

Get it from Amazon for $32.99.

    8. A nail grinder that's a little easier and gentler than the traditional clipper. Gone are the days of having to use both hands to clip and praying you didn't cut too short.

Promising review: "My older dog (15) has been suffering with long nails for some time. It's affected her ability to walk, and she's always falling. I've taken her to the groomer, tried to clip them myself, taken her walking and none of that helped. I even took her to the vet and had them put her under anesthesia to clip her nails. That didn't do much at all and they recommended I not do that often because of her age. So I got this and hoped for the best. I am beyond impressed and thankful! In one session this has made a huge difference. My dog didn't move or jerk around like she normally does. She just laid there and let me take care of her nails. I could not believe it When we were done and she got up to walk, I could no longer hear the loud tapping on the floors. She is gonna have to get used to walking normally again." —georgiadiva2k

Get it from Amazon for $23.99 (originally $44.99; also available as a kit with six sanding bands).

    9. An ultra effective handheld vacuum to suck up the seemingly endless supply of pet hair in your home.

    really hairy blanket
    fur-free blanket

Promising review: "Holy crap!! Are you skeptical when it comes to buying stuff online? ME TOO! That's why I figured all of these rave reviews were a crock of crap. I've seriously bought every kind of vacuum out there, including the Rumba, which is about as intelligent as a cotton swab. But I have four cats and a golden retriever, so I was getting desperate! I believe the saying is… a picture is worth a thousand words. Check mine out (above)! Of note — the 'before' picture was taken of my dog's bed AFTER it went through the washer and dryer. Look at all of that left-behind hair!!! And the 'after' picture was taken after only THREE MINUTES spent vacuuming her bed. I. Am. SOLD! BTW, I've NEVER taken the time to review a product before, just FYI." —Luka Chan

Get it from Amazon for $30.99.

    10. A container of oatmeal paw butter that'll soothe and relieve your dog's cracked, dry paws. Its eco-friendly formula is pH-balanced so it's safe for cats, even if licked or swallowed. *seriously considers licking it myself to see if it really tastes like oatmeal*

Promising review: "I've tried everything on my Australian shepherd's paws. He licks his paws when they get dry which makes them drier. The vet told me to use coconut oil, he just licked that off. I don't think he liked the taste of the paw butter so he left it on and by the next morning, I saw a significant improvement." —C. Castro

Get it from Amazon for $7.59.

    11. A miniature hoodie for your ferret (or microscopic dog). Does your ferret need clothes? Check out this review picture and you'll know the answer.

Promising review: "LOVE LOVE LOVE! This fits very comfortably on my ferret, Loki. He absolutely loves it. He does attempt to slip out of it — but he's harness trained he can't get out with the harness over the hoodie. He absolutely adores going for a walk in it. It's become somewhat of a comfort blanket for him. When I put this on him — he immediately falls asleep in it. Not to mention, he's become such an attraction because of how adorable he is in it!" —snowybritches

Get it from Amazon for $9.97.

    12. A cleansing wrinkle cream that'll wipe away your squishy-faced dog's tear stains with ease.

before: bulldog with redness and build up in wrinkles
    after: less buildup and redness

Promising review: "AMAZING!!! My baby has wrinkles on top of wrinkles. This product has saved him! He was rubbing his face so hard on things to scratch in between his wrinkles that his whole face would break out and get irritated and his tail pocket gets so yeasty, red, and irritated. I put this product in every little crevice he has. It is soooo amazing!! We don’t ever travel without it! I will forever buy this product. Lifesaver!" —Heather Erin

Get it from Amazon for $20.72.

    13. A dog paw cleaning device to keep Spot's feet squeaky clean, because you can't exactly put hand sanitizer on a dog. (Seriously, do not do that.)

before: dirty paw during: paw in front of bristled tube after: clean paw
    Amazon

Promising review: "Best. Thing. Ever. This product works like a charm. It gets the sand from between their pads, and is gentle enough that even my most stubborn pup tolerates it! I have a terrier/schnauzer who likes to dig, a mini golden doodle who is prissy about her paws and a standard labradoodle puppy who is still very fuzzy. We have a farm where it is extremely sandy and we stay in a travel trailer. The amount of sand they were tracking in to the camper was ridiculous. It takes me three minutes to clean and dry off all of their paws. Seriously the best purchase I have made!" —Rachel

Get it from Amazon for $12.54 (available in three sizes and six colors).

    14. An immunity-boosting allergy supplement so your itchy dog can finally find some relief. These soft chews deliver a dose of probiotics and other nutrients to help improve immune function, aide digestion, and promote healthy skin. Bonus: They add a nice shine to your dog's coat.

before: fur missing from rump after: full furred rump
    dog with red tummy
dog with less redness on stomach

Promising review: "Absolutely the best product. It saved my itchy goldendoodle! We tried changing food, Benadryl, medicated shampoo, fish oil, everything you can imagine... nothing worked long-term. He was itching his face so badly he would make himself bleed. Had sores and scabs all over his face and neck. I bought these because they had good reviews and I was desperate. It changed his life! He no longer scratches AT ALL! His coat looks great and all of his sores are healed. He’s the happiest he’s been which makes me a very happy momma. He is also very picky and never eats treats... he eats these every time so that’s an added bonus!" —Darcie Nation

Get them from Amazon for $25.97.

    15. An LED collar to keep your dog safe on night walks (aka 5 pm) and to give yourself a free light show.

    dog's teeth with plaque
    dog's teeth now without plaque

Promising review: "I write this for Pabu, a Shih Tzu. The vanilla mint flavor disappeared for a long time and Pabu would refuse all other flavors. This arrived yesterday and he went right for the first link. Happy breath and dental care again. Woo-hoo!" —Mikah

Get it from Amazon for $9.44.

    17. The legendary Furminator here to save you from living in a fur storm. It removes loose hair from the undercoat, meaning your thick-coated pet will be shedding way less.

Promising review: "I wish I could give this thing 7 stars, but five will have to do. I was able to pull entire sheets of undercoat out of our husky without disturbing the topcoat. I've never had anything work so well. It's even easier to keep the fur pile together. The fur stays clumped, instead of getting spread out and floating around like with the blade-style Furminator. This thing really digs the loose stuff out so much faster and easier. Check the photo to see what 20 minutes will get you." —pvfjr

Get it from Amazon for $14.97.

    18. An outdoor cat house for cats looking for some fresh air and adventure, minus the danger.

Large wooden and mesh jungle gym for cats. It has two levels, shady spots, sunny spots, and hidden cubby holes.
Closeup of reviewer's cat inside cubby hole
Different reviewer's cat stretching on a wooden beam

Promising review: "This is one swanky cat pen. We purchased this for a feral cat we’ve been feeding that got into a fight and had his remaining eye damaged. This is going to be his new home and I’m extremely happy with it. I will probably be ordering an additional one without the bed tower section to add onto this one to give him more leg room. Best part is that it is made from cedar and smells fantastic. Not too hard to put together — it took me and my husband an hour." —JJohnson

Get it from Amazon for $444.47.

    19. A self-grooming toy that your cat will love shoving their against. The corner of your coffee table has nothing on this wall brush.

It also comes with a small pouch of catnip to encourage your cat to get a good brushing in.

Promising review: "I got this for my three-legged cat because he can't scratch his left side. He'll be trying to scratch and all you see is his little nub going crazy. I found these and he immediately LOVED it! The expression on his face when he first tried it was priceless. The only downside is that it's possible it'll fall off because it was hard for me to get all pieces of tape to stick on a corner at the same time, but I can always buy more double sided tape, so not a big deal to me. The product is for Floyd, not me, and he's happy — so 5 stars." —Pippa Runs

Get it from Amazon for $5.51.

    20. A medicated dog shampoo to manage dandruff, mange, and fungal/bacterial infections. This paraben-, dye-, and soap-free solution will help soothe your pet's itchy skin.

Promising review: "Naturally, because of the ingredients, it has a strong smell. However, it does seem to leave my dog's skin feeling dry and provides good relief for her poor itchy skin. My dog Molly is a 9-pound mini dachshund whose little chest makes contact with the grass all the time so her skin gets itchy and irritated. I’ve been bathing her regularly with this shampoo and it is giving her some relief. No more greasy, flaky skin. Her skin and fur is now dry and soft." —Climbyourarms

Get it from Amazon for $8.99 (available in two sizes and styles).

    21. A betta fish leaf hammock so your fishy friend can kick back and relax.

This leaf comes with a little wire inside, so make sure you remove it before giving it to your delicate fish.

    22. A Cat Dancer toy you can waggle in front of your feline whenever you wanna give them a proper workout.

    cat reaches for toy
cat fully launched in air to catch the toy

Promising review: "I have a whole room filled with cat toys that my cat is not interested in. It's funny how the least expensive cat toy I have makes him go crazy. He plays with this until he's panting like a dog and I have never seen him jump so high. I'm certain this toy will help him lose his belly. He loves it! I highly recommend it!" —Kwoo

Get it from Amazon for $2.21.

    23. A lightweight bird carrier so you can take your favorite feathery friend on a trip to the park without fear of them flying away and getting lost.

    24. A fence window for curious pups who wanna know what the heck is going on out there. This nifty porthole will be fun for both your pet and all the people walking by.

Reviewer's husky looking onto front lawn from the dog window in the backyard
Two dogs sticking their heads into the round window to peek through the fence

This includes everything you need to secure the window and it takes about 15 minutes to set up. All you'll need is a drill/driver, crescent wrench, and a pencil.

Promising review: "Our dogs love it! Our old fence had gaps for them to see who was I the driveway, but with the new one, no gaps. The doggie windows allow them to see who is pulling up again! Each one took about 10–15 minutes to install. We just used the black ring to trace the inner circle, cut with a jigsaw, marked the holes for the bolts and pre-drill, and used a 10-mm wrench to tighten, not too tight to crack ring or globe plastic. Now they can see us again!" —Summers

Get it on sale from Amazon for $27.88.

    25. A birthday cake kit so you can properly celebrate the day Earth was graced with your cute little buddy.

    Reviewer's dog eating a bone-shaped cake
Another reviewer's do posing with their cake

It comes with a reusable bone-shaped pan, one carob cake mix packet (just add water), one yogurt frosting pack, and one party candle.

Promising review: "This couldn’t have been easier to make and no mess! I can’t speak to the flavor myself, but my doggos ate it right up! The mold is reusable. I set aside a whole hour to 'bake' this treat; turns out it only took a couple of minutes zapped in the microwave." —Annie Mayo

    26. A pair of pet grooming glove to make petting sessions even more productive.

A pair of the gloves with a thick coat of fur being pulled from them. The gloves are soft on top and have plastic bumps to pull loose hair while petting.
    Amazon

Promising review: "These gloves work wonders for my long-haired German Shepherd puppy. My puppy is 11 months old and sheds like crazy. These gloves are perfect because my puppy does not like being brushed by rough brushes and tries to bite them. With the gloves she doesn't care as much." —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $13.99 (available in two colors).

    27. A coconut hideaway for rodents, reptiles, and birds, in case you're all looking for a tropical getaway.

Reviewer's baby lizard hanging on the edge of the coconut's opening
Two sugar gliders tucked inside the coconut with the wooden step bridge hanging from the other end of the cage
Several finches tucked inside the coconut in the winter. The coconut is outside and in front of the reviewer's window.

Promising review: "I have four parakeets (the parents and the two children), and the mother loves this coconut! It's nice and roomy for her. Initially, I was concerned because when she first went inside, the entire coconut started shaking like crazy. Then I realized that she was trying to remove some of the fuzzy rope that went through the coconut (I guess to make it more comfy?). Either way, she sits inside happily while the other birds reek havoc." —Nani

Get it from Amazon for $9.70.

    28. A lawn repair formula made from mulch, seed, and soil amendments to help fix up greenery that was previously destroyed by your pet.

Promising review: "I have lacrosse players and dogs and this stuff is amazing. My yard looked like an abandoned lot before this and it literally 'grew anywhere' just like it said. dog poses with plush log with holes for small red mushroom plush squeaky toys
    Rebecca O'Connell / BuzzFeed

My dog is pretty weird about his toys (and also in general), so I never know what he's going to like or completely ignore. This mushroom log has been a total hit! He loves how the log crinkles and has a ton of fun fishing out the squeaky mushrooms. Sometimes I'll put my hand in the log and wiggle one of the mushrooms on top like a puppet. This makes him absolutely lose it — I've never seen him so excited! I love that this is machine washable and fairly durable, so we can keep it around for a while.

Get it from Harry Barker for $20.

    31. A super effective fish tank light so you can see every dang inch of your aquarium.

Promising review: "I spent a LOT of time researching reasonably priced lights. I have used a couple of other lights on various tanks and this light is by far the best one I’ve used to date. I’m so happy I finally decided to make the purchase. No more shadowy dark corners and my fish even seem happier too. I attached a photo to show the difference, but the photo still doesn’t do it justice." —HEATHER B.

Get it from Amazon for $17.99.

    32. A soothing behavioral aid toy with a fake heartbeat that will give your puppy something to cuddle up with while crate training. They'll love their new friend so much, they'll totally forget all about their separation anxiety (almost).

Reviewer's pug puppy sitting on top of the plush dog toy
Reviewer's Australian shepherd puppy with the toy dog on top of it while napping

Promising review: "My partner and I recently got a 4-month-old Italian greyhound puppy and this has been great. We slept with the stuffed animal a few nights before picking up our puppy and placed it in his crate before he arrived. After playing with us and exploring his new home he walked into his crate and curled up against it and went right to sleep. He slept right through the first night with no issue. Today is week two and the batteries are still going strong. I plan on buying one for my sister who will be getting a puppy in the next few months. This is cute and functional." —Jeb

Get it from Amazon for $39.95 (available in four colors).

    33. A liquid tartar remover that basically works like mouthwash for your dog. Just add this to their water and it'll get to work on their plaque and stinky breath.

Reviewer photo of their dog's yellow teeth
Reviewer's photo of their dog's teeth looking white after using the tartar remover

Promising review: "My dog's molars were turning black and he had a ton of build up on his canines. In the photo (above), just imagine everywhere you see slight yellow, instead covered in black and brown gunk and hard plaque. His gums were beginning to look inflamed. And, of course, his breath could kill a horse. After one week of constant use (a cap full for every bowl of water) you could see an obvious difference in tooth color. I was blown away. (Why can’t human mouthwash do such a good job on our teeth?) After three weeks, his molars were almost completely clean. After a couple months of use, the plaque on his canines was soft enough to brush some of it off, which was totally impossible before. Plaque covered the canine approximately 70%. Obviously that's no longer the case. Idk what insane solvent this is made of, but it keeps his gross mouth clean as a whistle. Now I don’t have to worry about my picky princess mutt losing his teeth because he can’t be bothered to chew anything." —BaconPancakes

Get it from Amazon for $7.15.

    34. A Gumby plushie that literally thousands of dogs have fallen in love with. IDK if it's his shape or disarming smile, but Gumby is a hit in the dog community!

a reviewer's pug with their tail wrapped around the Gumby plushie
a different reviewer's small dog with its arm wrapped around Gumby

Promising review: "We have a 55-pound hound mix and she usually eviscerates and extracts the squeaker in stuffed toys in minutes. Which is fine. BUT then she has zero interest in the unstuffed toys and they end up in the trash. It’s a pretty pricey habit. For some reason, though, she loves Gumby. His squeaker is long gone but she didn’t unstuff his body or tear him up like the toys who have gone before him. I think she likes the density of his legs for tossing around and gnawing at gently. I’m buying another one to have as a backup for when she does finally decide to destroy him. And he’s less than $5. Win-win." —C. Teleki

Get it from Amazon for $5.01.

    35. A tricky treat-dispensing toy with beakers that your little furry scientist will have to tip over if they wanna make a snack breakthrough. Eureka!!! More kibble!

reviewer photo, golden retriever gnawing on the beakers
reviewer gif of poodle spinning the beakers and eating the treat that falls out

Promising review: "This dog toy is perfect if you want your dog distracted or to help mental stimulation! Our dog, Bodie, absolutely loves this toy and he gets so excited when he sees we’ve filled it up. So much so, we used it to help with his separation anxiety. We usually only use it for this purpose when we leave the house so he has something exciting to do that he loves. He’s chewed on it a few times in the process but it is very durable! Great quality and overall great product! Highly recommend!" —Amazon Customer
