Because the best-tasting pickles are the ones you've made yourself (after a few tries).
Pop some frozen bananas in there with any other ingredients you want, and bam! Tasty, dairy-free ice cream.
Promising review: "Dope blender. I pureed soup to a velvety texture in 30 seconds. Then made a lemon slushy. Super easy to clean, assemble. Fits under kitchen cabinet. I didn't think it was too loud. The container shape is still narrow, even though its shorter, so some of the problems that others have had with the short fat containers are avoided. I'm still figuring out how to use the pulse button, or why its even there. I highly recommend this blender, and unlike other reviewers here I was not provided with a free product. Just a dude who likes his new blender." —Bobby

Throw one of these powders into your smoothie, fruit bowl, nice cream for an extra kick. Dragonfruit is delicious, but dang! So expensive. Instead of dropping $6 on a single dragonfruit, this powder will do the trick. Meanwhile, the spirulina has good stuff like iron, beta carotene, B12, vitamin K, chlorophyll, and phycocyanin. It has a nice green color, so it'll make your smoothie bowls look like they're celebrating St. Patrick's Day year round.
Get the dragonfruit powder for $16.50 and the spirulina for $15.39 from Amazon.
The kit comes with four multipurpose lids, fermenting caps, extractor pump, and recipe book, but you need to get your own mason jars. The special caps let carbon dioxide escape without allowing oxygen to enter so your jars won't like, explode. I recently used one to make a jar of pickles and somehow they were not only edible, but actually pretty good!

It comes with a gallon jug, thermometer, cleanser, tubing, racking cane and tip, chambered airlock, screw-cap stopper, and mix (grain, hops and yeast). You can make tasty brews like Everyday IPA, Jalapeno Saison, and Afternoon Wheat. I've tried the saison at a beer festival a few years ago and confirm it's really good!
Promising review: "This kit is perfect for anyone interested in homebrewing who may be intimidated by the more typical 5 gallon setups. The kit was delivered pretty quickly and all of the supplies were in it. After looking for a reasonable homebrew starter kit that included a glass fermenting jug, I was glad to find this one. Now I won't have to drink 5 gallons of awful beer if I mess up! This kit is pretty foolproof though and my first batch is fermenting as I'm posting this." —Philip Chan

The press makes 12 raviolis at once. You can also use it for stuffed cookies or teeny-tiny pies. Anyway, please invite me over after you get this.
Promising review: "This little gadget was great. I thought it would be something to get used to, but I was able to make perfect raviolis the first try! For the price, you just can't beat this ravioli press. I don't know why anyone would buy the super expensive attachment for the Kitchenaid when this is just as easy —probably more so." —PFamily

You can adjust the thermostat to dry at different temperatures. It has five trays and can expand to 12 trays.
Promising review: "I did a lot of research on these before buying. But I mean when you have over 3,000 reviews and you’re still at 4 1/2 stars you can’t doubt this. It made the best jerky I’ve ever had! We used their spices (because they come free with the dehydrator). Added soy sauce and red wine vinegar. It beats any store bought jerky! I kinda panicked not having a timer. But we have cell phones with them now. We’re doing fruit now! I can’t wait for it to be done. The aromas fill the whole house too! Don’t look anywhere else. This is the best!" —Erin M Biggs

Promising review: "Got this for my granddaughter for her 12th birthday. She, her brother (15), sister (8), Papa (Old), and I (also old) had soooo much fun. She LOVES it! A really great toy! Promising review: "I do not normally rave about kitchen appliances but I love this little guy! I impulse bought it after reading some reviews and craving waffles. It seriously is the best waffle maker I have ever used. We had a more expensive one that would flip to cook evenly, but this thing has that beat by a mile. I have used it a dozen times and the waffles come out perfect every time. I spray with vegetable oil before pouring in 1/3 cup of batter (as other reviewers have noted it does not come with a measuring cup) and then set a timer for four minutes. When I am done, I just unplug it and let it cool, then wipe it off with a cloth. I know the color and cartoonish logo may turn some people off but I seriously recommend this iron to everyone." —leahas

Promising review: "I'm an avid sushi eater and wanted to get into making my own. I bought a rice cooker to get the rice perfect every time. This kit makes the rest of the process easier. The guide helps immensely to get the right amount of rice on the nori sheet. The absolute best part of this kit is the cutting guide, I've never been successful at cutting sushi the other way and this makes it perfect every time! Really a great value and I couldn't recommend it more." —Duudettes

Promising review: "I'm one of those weirdos that does an unnecessary amount of research, reads review after review, watches videos, and looks through the fine print on where a product is made and what the warranty covers — just to make sure I'm getting the best product for the best price. After owning the spiralizer for a year now, I feel confident in sharing how much I love this thing. It's a pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer, sauté pan, yogurt maker, and food warmer all in one snazzy appliance. (Check out our full review of the Instant Pot!)
Promising review: "I can't say enough about this pressure cooker. First, I got rid of several gadgets, which I love. I had two rice cookers, a slow cooker, and a food steamer. That has freed up so much room in my kitchen. Best of all, I am making some delicious dishes with this. When I cook meat on the stove top, it is hit or miss. The meat comes out tender and delicious every time I use the Instant Pot. If you are worried about the investment or about having yet another gadget, you can remedy this by selling the appliances that this makes obsolete on Craigslist and using the money towards your own Instant Pot." —mo

Promising review: "I was so excited to receive this product that I literally made my first cup of boba tea minutes after un-boxing! I love that the Thai Tea provided in this kit is lose leaf tea and not a powder, it smelled so good when I cut the bag open! The boba (tapioca pearls) are super easy to make, you can follow the instructions on the back of the package. They were squishy and PERFECT! So much so that I actually liked them better than many I've had in restaurants. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase!! YUM!" —Cinnamon

The device comes with four molds and a giant gummy bear mold. It makes fish, worms, and bears.
Promising review: "This was a lot of fun and easy to do. My 5-year-old had a blast with it. Some complain about the pot heating up too slowly and used the stove instead. I don't know, I thought it heated up just fine and it make it a lot more fun to use the included pot and give everyone a chance to stir. The molds are fantastic. I also recommend like others have said to use either two or three packets of the unflavored gelatin. We used three packets and they came out great." —Joe
