Special utility: heavy armor cocoon, shinbreakers, side-mounted grappling hook launchers, and central jack to lift the car and rotate it 180 degrees (a modern take on the 1966 parachute-aided bat-turn lever).
Fun fact: In dire straits, the body of this Batmobile could be dismantled and turned into Batmissile mode to fit into tight spaces.
4. 1995: Batmobile — Batman Forever
Special utility: grappling hook in nose of the vehicle.
Fun fact: Wanting to emulate a more organic design, this version of the Batmobile provided a look that represented a bat's ribs and wings.
5. 2005-2012: Tumbler — Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises
Special utility: armor plating, weapon system, self-driving capabilities, and Batpod
Fun fact: Lucius Fox described The Tumbler as an experimental bridging vehicle. It possesses the ability to scale large gaps for the purposes of fortifying a temporary bridge. Since the bridge aspect proved unsuccessful, the entire project was sidelined.
6. 2015: Batmobile — Batman: Arkham Knight

Fun fact: For the first time in the Arkham series, you are able to get behind the wheel of the Batmobile.

Fun fact: The sidecar sold at auction for $30,000.

Fun fact: The concept of the Batpod came from the mind of Dark Knight director Chris Nolan and production designer Nathan Crowley, who have zero experience with motorcycles.
