Someone Carved Beyoncé Out Of Cheese And Mona Lisa Is SHOOK

What a time to be alive.

Mona Lisa, Girl with a Pearl Earring, The Sistine Madonna. What do all of these marvels of classic art have in common?

To put it briefly, THEY’RE SHOOK.

Earlier this week, sculptor David Bradley joined the likes of Michelangelo and Rembrandt when he debuted one of the most avant-garde sculptures to grace the modern art scene. Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce to you, Brie-yoncé.

It's technically cheddar, but "cheddar-yoncé" doesn't have quite the same ring to it.

At first glance, you may be wondering to yourself "What is so special about this?" I mean, it just looks like a recreation of her record-breaking Instagram pic from earlier this year where she announced her second pregnancy, right?

WRONG. This 45-pound sculpture is so special because it's made entirely of cheddar cheese.

Yup, you read that right. Cheese. It's made of cheese.

The sculpture was made by Bradley in collaboration with The Robin Collective and Jacqui Kelly (a food sculptor) to promote London's East Village Cheese and Wine Festival.

But we're just happy that it exists in general. Thanks for this, 2017. If you're taking requests I'd like to see Britney Spears carved from solid chocolate next.
