1. You'll be walking around campus.

4. You'll be part of a smaller group with a student Orientation Leader.

They’re basically your personal guide. They’ll answer your questions, show you around campus, and get you hyped about being a Cardinal.

5. You'll make your first college schedule.

Don’t worry, you’ll have an academic advisor there to help you. Make sure you take your math and foreign language placement exams online BEFORE attending Orientation. They determine what classes you need to take and which ones you can skip. (Find more info here or in your Orientation confirmation packet.)

6. You'll get your Cardinal Card, which is your ticket to EVERYTHING at Ball State.

Like your meal plan, residence hall, equipment rentals, rec centers, and events. Upload your Cardinal Card photo before you get here. That way, you can choose your favorite selfie!

7. There will be free food.

You’ll get a $25 meal card to eat on campus while you’re here. Chick-fil-A, Papa John's Pizza, Taco Bell, Starbucks, pasta, homestyle… the possibilities are mouthwatering.

It’s not all about learning new information. You’ll spend your first evening bowling and dance partying with your new friends and Orientation Leaders at the Student Center.

It only takes a few minutes and allows your family members to see your schedule, pay your tuition, deposit Cardinal Cash, and more.
